We are offering a most regal and unusual Norwegian Elkhound female, named Svart (meaning dark in color) but  we prefer to call her “Cleopatra”.  This gorgeous girl is the leader and Queen of them all.  Regal and fully confident, she is everything we know Cleopatra to have been back in her days of making history.  She is the epitome of the attitude and full reigning power in her breeding pack.  This 5 year old girl is gorgeous and is bigger than most, 65 pounds.  Undeniably in charge , Svart insists on being the only female in a family’s life.  She can live in peace with a submissive male as long as he knows his place.  She is fine with dogs outside the home but a living situation inside her family, she must the ONE in your life that garners all the affection and attention.  She is happy with all the humans she meets and she is part of a large pack of breeder dogs that her owner is asking Critter Cavalry Rescue to help place.  She is downsizing and getting out of the breeding business.   Our Svart AKA Cleopatra, needs a place of her own inside a home with her dog bed throne to await her.  If you are interested in this regal queen, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com She is ready for YOU to walk her down the red carpet to her new home.   Liv is a stunning 4-year-old Norwegian Elkhound who is now ready for her forever home after spending her life in an outdoor kennel. While she’s always had plenty of food and shelter, her interactions with people have been limited mostly to being provided basic care.  Liv is a gentle soul who loves the company of other puppies and gets along wonderfully with her kennel mates.   Though Liv may seem shy when you first meet her, with time, patience, and a little encouragement, she’ll warm up and show her affectionate side. She is a sweet, loyal girl at heart, and once she feels comfortable, her personality truly shines through.   Liv will thrive in a home that’s willing to give her the time and space to adjust. She will also need a proper diet and exercise plan, as she has had access to food but not enough activity.
