Meet the cutest dog around, Bixby! Bixby is a cream colored Schnauzer mix with sweet, gentle eyes. He's an absolute gem and is looking for a family to adopt him and welcome him into their home! Bixby was found in a park walking around by himself, he was feeling quite lonely and sad until his foster rescued him and brought him home! He was given all kinds of love, care, treats and fun! Bixby was brought into a home with 4 other foster dogs who all love to play, they're like a circus troop with all their fun and games and playtime! Bixby is the sweetheart of his group, but is also a little shy, suddenly movements and loud noises spook him. But, in most other situations Bixby is focused and alert! He is food motivated and loves to learn! Bixby knows his name and walks well on the leash. Bixby can be a couch magnet and you'll often find him cuddling up on your lap and sometimes he'll even offer a paw up for you to shake! Occasionally, Bixby likes to be by himself in his own space. Bixby's favorite treat is a pupperoni stick! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hi there, my name is Whiskee, yes, you heard right, it's my color. I was out running around the streets, not sure why my people just gave up on me, I had to dodge cars, big dogs that growled at me, nights were the worst, it was very scary for a little guy .I need a secure fenced yard as I am an escapee and would look for a chance to go for a walk. I think I am Norfolk Terrier/ Yorkshire Terrier/and maybe other terrier, my folks got around. I am one year old, 12.6 pounds of love and adventure. Ready for a home that just wants a little guy life me to love. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, wormed, all that fun stuff needed to keep me healthy for a longtime. I like to play with other dogs that are nice to us little guys, kids (over 10) that are going to be gentle and playful. Welcome Carmelo to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Carmelo is a Norfolk/Cairn Terrier mix is our best guess. He weighs about 15 pounds and this boy understands mostly Spanish and is learning English. Carmelo is 2 years old and has the shortest legs and the least outgoing of the two. These boys love each other and would love to be adopted together. If they adopt out separately, we do think they will be ok. Carmelo is lower shedding and lower dander due to his breed. He cannot walk on a leash yet but with patience we think he can learn. We will be working on that while he is here at the rescue. His brother already knows how to walk on a leash. Simba has lived with an older couple. They had some very unfortunate circumstances and now they are looking for a new home. CCPAL is happy to help them find their forever home. If we could find an owner that speaks some Spanish, that would be great. They are both learning English so they should be fine with some patience. An older couple or an older single person wanting a nice companion would be the best pick. Carmelo is very quiet and lower energy so he wouldn’t be hard to care for other than being really shy. He is good in a crate and not too much of a barker. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted out locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200 He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 12 or older.
