Story
Buddy is a handsome and friendly, 8-year-old terrier mix, who knows age is just a number! He is an active, little guy, who loves going for walks, playing tug, and chasing the ball during a round of fetch. Buddy is house trained, knows the commands sit and stay, and is very people motivated to learn more commands. He also enjoys relaxing and being in your lap while you read a book or watch a movie. He walks well on the leash and enjoys meeting other little dogs. He can be apprehensive about interacting with bigger dogs, but is learning to overcome his insecurities. He can be vocal during a rousing game of tug or when he sees his leash, but mostly because he is happy and excited. Buddy is doing well as the only dog in his foster home and would be fine as an only dog. He would probably adapt to living with another dog once he knows his role in the pack. If you are looking for a loyal friend, who successfully balances activity and downtime, then this Bud's for you! Buddy has a bite history now. He is a small dog and still very friendly but he does not like people touching his face. So there have been 2 bites because of this. He also can be possessive of his toys, blankets, things. We would be willing to work with an adopter or do a foster to adopt to eliminate the issues he is having. He is neutered, microchipped , heartworm negative and has all his shots.
