Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.GYPSY is a bubbly social friendly girl who loves just hanging out and being involved with you.  She loves to ride in the car while she watches out the window.  This is a funny little girl and she really likes to be close to you.  She is only 3 years old and 8 pounds.  She will not get any bigger although she has been bigger because she was found extremely pregnant and she delivered 7 babies after 2 days of being in her foster home.  Her babies are very tiny and we expect them to be little scruffies just like their mom.  They will be available the 3rd week of January.  Of course we will update ourwebsite and Facebook page with their pictures. GYPSY was not interested in being a mother from the very beggining.  She just wanted to sit in my lap and enjoy the warm and love.  She does not stay stuck under you but she is close by all the time except when I accidentally close the door to a room and she did not run out fast enough! She does play with the other dogs and gets along with everyone fine but it would be okay with her if she was the only dog that way she could accompany you on all of your errands.  She walks very well on a leash, well behaved and easy to get along with and very little maintenance on a daily basis.  She may need to be groomed every 4-5 months just to keep her wild hair tamed.  She is a non-shedder and does not mind getting baths.  Please make sure your yard is secure or she will slip out through a hole that is big enough and she is a tiny little girl.  I will try to get some better pictures of her. If you are interested in adopting GYPSY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Peanut looks in the mirror and he is taken back by how handsome that little dog he is looking at appears to be. He is 5 months old weighs 8 pounds and looks like a Border terrier or Norfolk terrier mix. Peanut was reported to have been pretty much on the street since the end of October. In late November he was taken in by a concerned citizen. He had fleas and was quite hungry. After a good scrubbing and several good meals, he settled in. The person who brought him in from the cold was not able to keep him secondary to her dog. She reported Peanut to be sweet and lovable. We placed him in a foster home soon after he arrived. After learning some of the house rules he has become a good houseguest. He is doing well on leash with a halter. His housebreaking is improving but his humans need to be attentive because sometimes he can’t wait too long even after a short nap. He is playful with the other young dogs and has taken up an interest in toys and learning to entertain himself with toys and chews. Peanut will be a fun family dog or a great companion for a single person. Another furry friend and not too many hours alone would be a great home for him. He will be neutered, is chipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $300 and if you can’t wait to pet him and hold him, please submit an application that can be found on https://poquitapawsrescue.org.ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Welcome Carmelo to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Carmelo is a Norfolk/Cairn Terrier mix is our best guess. He weighs about 15 pounds and this boy understands mostly Spanish but after being at the Rescue is now bilingual. Carmelo is 2 years old and has the shortest legs and the outgoing now and good with other dogs. Carmelo is a great dog and does good in his crate. In a group of dogs, he causes no problems. Carmelo is lower shedding and lower dander due to his breed. He is learning to walk on a leash but he will come off leash when called. Carmelo has lived with an older couple and he would love a similar environment but has adapted well to a loud rowdy environment at the rescue. The family that had Carmelo had some very unfortunate circumstances and now they are looking for a new home. CCPAL is happy to help them find their forever home. Carmelo is very quiet and lower energy so he wouldn’t be hard to care for other than being really shy. He is good in a crate and not too much of a barker. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted out locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200 He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 12 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
