Meet MoMo!
MoMo is a playful, energetic and affectionate cat who’s searching for his forever home. With his special skills—making air biscuits and showing off the longest stretches you’ve ever seen—he’s sure to win you over. This three-year-old sweetheart has a lot of love to give and dreams of finding his best friend.
About MoMo:
Morning Routine Pro: MoMo starts his day with curiosity and adventure. Whether he’s racing after his favorite laser toy or helping you get ready in the bathroom, he’ll be your cheerful morning companion.
Engaged and Social: He loves being part of your daily activities, whether it’s watching birds or other wildlife from the window, supervising chores, or keeping you company at your desk (though he prefers you use your inside voice during Zoom calls).
Affectionate (on his terms): When the mood is right, he’ll cozy up for a nap on your lap or keep you warm by snuggling under the covers on cold nights.
Entertainer Extraordinaire: MoMo loves meeting new people and will happily show off his good behavior and signature stretches to your friends.
What Makes MoMo Unique:
MoMo is very smart and loves learning! He’s mastered treat puzzles and would likely excel with clicker training. While he loves attention and play, he can become overstimulated and may act out —especially when he’s excited or hasn’t had enough activity.
Cats like MoMo are hunters and they like to catch their prey! So, fast movements (like feet) may trigger his hunter instinct! He benefits from structured playtime and consistent routines to help manage his impulses. When he gets overly excited, he may just need a brief timeout or someone who can redirect his energy appropriately. He does need some time to get used to new routines/environments.
What MoMo Needs:
MoMo would love to be adopted by someone who is home often to engage with him and keep him entertained. He needs interactive play with his human and needs someone who is patient and knows when he wants to play or has had enough. Since he can get overstimulated, young children would not be a good fit.
‘
Understanding of His Past: MoMo was attacked by a dog or large animal before coming into rescue, so he can still be fearful of some dogs. He has enjoyed having a feline playmate and may do OK with a younger feline playmate, with proper introductions, but he may prefer to be your one and only!

MoMo is estimated to be around 3 years old. His coloring looks similar to a Russian Blue, but his lineage is unknown. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.
MoMo is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and the occasional chirp at wildlife. If you’re looking for a playful, curious, and affectionate companion, he might just be your purr-fect match. He is being fostered in the Denver area. His adoption fee is $125.
