Story
Jemili (Jem) is a very high-energy, loving, snuggly pit bull terrier mix who we think is about 5 years old. He is very loyal and loves his people, once he gets to know them. He can sometimes be nervous around strangers, and he is defensive of his home. We adopted him from the Humane Rescue Alliance two years ago, and have since worked with the Animal Behavior Wellness Center, where he has made significant progress in crate training, clicker training, mat training, and overcoming separation anxiety. He now can spend 8 hours per day by himself without any sign of distress, and since he has started taking paroxetine, he has become more relaxed. A few things that we think would be important for Jem to live his best life in a new home would be: extra space so Jem can be separated when guests visit; owners having some time and resources to commit to continuing periodic training; owners with experience having worked with nervous dogs; and owners who can be patient while Jem warms up.

Story
We are need to rehome our 1.5 year old dog, Tucker. Tucker is the sweetest person dog around. He loves to run, play, cuddle, chew, and hang out with his people. He can be high energy during playtime, but will also fall asleep on your lap to a movie. He has reactivity issues on leash, so a home and no other dogs is ideal. He has been good with my niece (almost 2), but has mainly been around adults. He is house trained, and has not been around cats. We truly love this dog, but unfortunately due to family medical issues we are no longer able to care for him, physically or financially. I would love to see him go to a home that is right for him. We are looking for a home before a surgery date of Dec 15th.

Story
Rosy is a sweet girl and a loyal companion. We rescued her 6 years ago when she wasn’t being loved properly by her previous owner. She’s great with kids and is very protective of her humans. Unfortunately, in the past few months, she hasn’t been getting along with our other female dog, and it’s just not fair to either of them to allow this to go on any longer. It really breaks our heart to have to rehome her, but it’s become clear that, at this point in her life, Rosy needs to be the only dog in the home.
