Story
We adopted Anchor from a shelter in South Carolina when he was just six weeks old. He’s a neutered brindle Lab mix with incredibly soft fur and the most soulful chocolate brown eyes. He’ll turn three on June 28, 2025. Anchor is fully house-trained, walks well on a leash, and sleeps in a secure pen or in a closed bathroom at night. He eats dry food twice a day, loves lounging on the back deck, and is happiest chasing tennis balls. He’s also up-to-date on all vaccinations, and he loves car rides—he’s calm, happy, and very well-behaved in the car. Anchor is smart, observant, and can be incredibly sweet and affectionate with his people. However, he has displayed unpredictable behaviors over time, including guarding behavior around other dogs and snapping when overstimulated. He recently bit another dog in our home and has lunged at our children. Because we have a busy household with kids and other pets, we’ve made the very difficult decision to find a new environment for him—one that is

Story
Hi! My name is Bingo. I am currently living with Becky, Dave and Festivus. They found me in STJ, in the US Virgin Islands. I was chained up and a matted mess :( They are fostering me while I undergo heart worm treatment. Their dog, Festivus, is not crazy about me because I am a playful two-year-old. They also found out I'm not crazy about small children but I love older children! I only have a week left to go of my treatment and then I'll be able to take long walks and play. I love my crate. It's my special quiet place. I'm potty-trained, and a real love bug. Becky has been clicker training me, and she has found that I'm smart as a whip! I really wanna find my forever home since Festivus is not a fan. Come meet me!

Story
We are looking to rehome our dog, Pyrrha to a better-suited environment for her needs. She is an almost 4yo small female. She’s a very sweet & intelligent girl who knows basic commands. House-trained, healthy, spayed & UTD on rabies. That said, Pyrrha struggles w/ anxiety, especially around new people/visitors in the home. She plays w/ other dogs, but has some resource guarding behaviors that we’ve worked on w/ training, but they remain a challenge—particularly in a busy household. We’ve worked w/ trainers and our vet to try to help her, but after a lot of time, love, and effort, we’ve come to the very difficult conclusion that our home isn’t the best fit for her. She needs a quiet, stable home that can give her the calm & structure she thrives in. Needs a home w/ dog experience, no small children or apartments (as she is a great watch dog). Pyrrha is incredibly loyal once she bonds with you and will make a great companion for the right person or couple.

Story
Prefer both dogs to be adopted together, born August 28, 2023. Ozzy and Willow are definitely bonded and wouldn't do well separately, but if just one ok. They will also need lots of land to run. Willow was not anticipated to be adopted when we adopted her brother at 5 weeks old, but 3 weeks later we received the call. They love to lay at your feet while cooking, love cuddling for movie nights, and overall so very well with older kids. No issues with car rides, as long as you understand thell be walking around. They know sit, wait, bed, and sometimes stay. The bad: unfortunately they have nipped at our older kids recently, deserved to be honest, since they warned with a growl but I don't want them in trouble. They are extremely tolerant dogs, but we have a 7 month old, and I'm concerned the biting may increase. Willow does pick on her brother Ozzy and often tries to steal his food so she needs to be watched. Not leash trained and pull hard. Never took to fetch. Theyre pretty great.

Story
Robby is house trained and knows sit, down, stay, drop it, and touch commands - especially when treats are involved. He requires careful food storage - he is very clever at finding food even in containers! Robby loves to be outdoors and can hike for miles. However, he has become increasingly nervous around people and dogs which is coming out as aggression. Sometimes he is fine - others he is not. Two weeks ago, he bit someone (stitches required). Due to my limitations, I cannot give Robby what he needs in training and support. Happy to also include his crate, dog toys, and over six months of heartworm/flea/tick meds to a good home. He just had his annual shots in February 2025.
