Story
We found him roaming in the neighborhood, and after feeding him and caring for him, we realized how smart and sweet he is. We posted about him in the Nextdoor app, and though we had two people interested in adopting him, they ultimately decided not to. About Solovino: - At around 9 months old, he's still teething a bit but has already mastered basic commands like sit and stay. - He's a quick learner and uses our doggy door when he needs to go outside. - He's crate-trained and loves his safe space. - Super sweet and loves to play, but also enjoys his nap time, making him a medium-energy dog. - While he's great with other dogs, he does resource guard his food with them, so a little training or careful feeding setup might be needed in a multi-dog household. Solovino would make a fantastic companion for an active family or anyone looking for a loving, playful dog who's eager to learn and bond but also appreciates some quiet time. He's ready to give lots of love!

Story
I took in Dodie in Around Feb 2024. I took her in as a foster dog because the gentleman that owns her has owned her since she was a puppy and he had to go to a rehab program through Forgotten Ministries in Enid Oklahoma. Unfortunately he is not getting out of the program in November like he had planned and he has no way of taking her back. She is around 2 years old and she is a very sweet girl. She has a lot of energy so she's going to need a home that will be active with her. She is kennel trained and listens very well. She loves to play fetch and she gets along with my other dogs very well. She is house trained but just like any other dog she's had a few accidents when I had to work long hours. She enjoys getting in the water. She loves to sleep in bed with me and she keeps me warm on the cold nights. She eats very well and is not too picky about what she eats. I am willing to donate her kennel and a 50 lb bag of Rachel Ray chicken and rice dog food.

Story
We found Maggie and 4 siblings by the side of the road about a month ago. We tried to keep her, but our other rescue dog is too aggressive just can’t adjust. She’s incredibly sweet and playful. She loves to chase (and sometimes fetch) tennis balls, play with chew toys, and cuddle. Her favorite activity is napping on someone’s lap. She already knows how to come and sit pretty consistently. She had her first round of shots 2 weeks ago. I really want to find a loving home for this adorable dog. She’s the best!

Story
This is miss Dottie May. Shes almost two years old. Shes a red heeler mix. Ive had her since she was 3 months old. Shes my best friend and I love her dearly. Shes super high energy. She loves off leash walks and swimming in lakes. She loves to play fetch but only with sticks. She loves squeaky toys. Shes not terrible with kids but shes a little skittish at first. Shes good with other dogs but she will chase your cats. She likes her chest and belly rubbbed and nose kisses. Shes extremely intelligent and is very easily trainable. I really would like to find someone who has a lot of land or a fenced in back yard. I also would like to find someone who I can keep in touch with and would let me come and see her sometimes. Please reach out if youre interested!

Story
Meet Tango! Tango is about 10 months old and weighs just under 9 pounds, and she kind of looks like a chiweenie to us! Tango is a sweet as they come and as you can see from her pictures, is always happy! Just look at that smile! Tango has done wonderful with all doggy and human friends alike and loves all that life has to offer. Tango is crate trained and does really well with going potty outside as ling as she is kept on a good schedule. Tango would love to join your home and run and play with you, then snuggle on your lap for all the love you can give! Interested in becoming a forever home for Tago? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Tago. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Tago the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
