Ripley is a sweet, playful young lady who loves car rides, outdoor adventures, and relaxing at home with a good bone. She’ll happily snuggle for hours and just as quickly switch into play mode. While she enjoys meeting other dogs with proper introductions, she can become overly excited and would do best as the only dog in the home. She just loves having all the attention to herself;and honestly, she deserves it. Ripley is still working on her leash walking skills, and may lunge and bark towards other dogs on walks. She would benefit from an experienced adopter who can continue her leash training and help her thrive! She would be most comfortable living in a quieter neighborhood where she can enjoy her walks with fewer triggers. At the end of the day, Ripley is a total cuddlebug with a big heart, and she’ll bring so much joy to the person lucky enough to call her theirs.

Even in the first days in a big city, he is a curious pup with big energy. It took him no time at all to find a favorite person in our home and explore the neighborhood. Charlie may need slow introductions outside of home because he's initially a little shy, but opens up fast! He's smart and really knows what's going on! A very quick learner. Charles will walk up and sniff down anything new. Walking with him is like a scavenger hunt; he'll surely show you where the good spots are. We were so surprised to find that this adult dog, even after days of traveling and relocation, had the energy to zoom all around and all over us! Charlie is just a little bundle of love. We hope he finds a family that can give him all the loving in the world.

That said, Swiper is still fearful of most humans and will run away from them if they try to approach him or make eye contact with him. His crate is his safe space and he likes to run back into it whenever he's nervous. However, over time he's really opened up and become very cuddly and affectionate with his foster mom. He also loves hanging out with his foster siblings and would love a forever home where he has some doggy friends his own size so that he can continue to learn from them and gain confidence and reassurance through mirroring their behavior.
