Story
Meet Lady! Our family adopted her from our local ASPCA September 2021. She was with a group of rescues from North Carolina. They estimated her age to be about 6 or 7 months old, so we estimate her DOB 2/1/21. Sadly our work schedule is changing and requires us to travel. We cannot afford the boarding costs. Lady is ready to be your work partner. She enjoys car rides and just being by your side. A good game of fetch and run around the backyard or dog park is all she needs to expend her energy. She loves to show you her strength in tug of war. Give her a warm, fuzzy blanket and she is a happy napper. Lady knows how to sit, give paw, and lets your know when she needs to go out for the bathroom. And she is very well house trained.

Story
**SEEKING EXPERIENCED ADOPTER FOR OUR BABY BOY WITH FEARFUL ANXIETY AND SENSITIVITY** For the right person, Oliver will make the perfect companion. We are beyond in love with him and have had him for 4 years. This post comes with a very heavy heart. We adopted Oliver in 2020 after he was found abandoned on the streets of Puerto Rico. We do not know what trauma he experienced but it left him with fearful anxiety and a hyper sensitivity to noise, new people, boxes, new environments, etc. With us, Oliver behaves like any other dog. He is playful, cuddly, loves running in our backyard, greenies, and snuggling in your leg nook. With strangers he is very fearful. He will retreat and does not do well with eye contact from new people. He takes repetition to get used to new individuals. Unfortunately, Oliver is not reacting well to our new daughter and is too unpredictable around children. We are seeking a person or couple with no kids who will put the time in to build a relationship with him.

Story
“My name is Leonard Skynard (Lenny) and I am guaranteed to rock your world, In a good way of course. I am a a 6 month old mix of pure perfection, that’s what my foster mom says. I weigh about 45 pounds and growing by the minute. I’m a good very good boy. I am playful but I also love a good nap. I am young so I am used to hearing, ‘no Lenny', ‘drop it Lenny’, ‘give me that Lenny’ but I’m learning. I live with 3 other dogs and I just love them. I also live with 3 other furry things that meow. I do like to chase them but I mean no harm. I am crate trained and I go right in without a peep. I am doing great with my house breaking. I am a fun guy. I would make a great family member to any family.” - Lenny Leonard Skynard was rescued in Texas along with his Mom and siblings. A good samaritan found them and reached out to us for help. The whole family was living outside in the heat and were severely dehydrated and malnourished. Poor Momma pup was trying the best she could, but they were literally just skin and bones. Lenny and his siblings each weighed just 2 - 4 pounds (at 10 weeks old) and Mom was just around 20 pounds when our Texas foster was able to pick them up. Lenny got sick and lost even more weight but he wasn’t going to give up and as you can see from the pictures above, he has fully recovered and is a happy, healthy pups these days. He is enjoying every opportunity to be pet and loved. He loves to follow his foster mom around and sleep on her lap. He is currently being fostered in PA. Story
We adopted Oakley in October as a companion for our other dog. He is rambunctious and high energy which proved to make him a poor companion to our other dog who is a more mellow couch potato. He is also a grade-A snuggler and an overall sweetie. We are sad to have to rehome him but we have to keep the peace in our home and want him to be safe.
