Story
This pup was found in Troy, NY wandering the streets and was turned into the local police department. Because the shelter is full, we have taken her home to take care of her for the time being. She is a very sweet girl. I believe she has had puppies in the past but appears to be a very young dog (I am guessing between 1-3 years old). We thought she was someone’s pet due to her being so well taken care of (and she is fully potty trained!) but after posting her on all the Facebook sites and local PD Facebook, we have not had an owner come forward. She is great with my male dog/3 year old daughter and has a super mild temp temperament (just enjoys laying at your feet). Crate training is unknown- she has been sleeping in a crate but has been out of it when we are not home due to my other dog not being crated anymore. She has not chewed anything or destroyed anything though. No known vaccinations so that will be a MUST!

Story
Very sweet girl, loves to give kisses and be around you. She has such a personality; she loves to vocalize, get the zoomies, go to the park, play with dogs, and at the end of the day snuggle in bed. She does have a high prey drive and she will chase and pin down the cats. She is redirectable this point but I cannot risk it. She is a bit high energy. She does tend to jump on people out of excitement and to try to lick their face. I have completed a basic training with her and she did exceptionally well. However due to my own busy schedule I failed to follow through with training at home. She is very bright and willing-I have no doubt that with someone with the right experience and lifestyle can give her a great life. I work extremely long days and it is just not fair to her. She is pen trained, potty trained, knows sit and lay down.

Story
Shelby - 4-5 year old female 50 lbs mixed breed - Shelby is a sweet, affectionate, well mannered dog - she will make a wonderful addition to the right home. Shelby has excellent house manners - she is house trained, not a barker and she does not chew up things. Shelby even knows how to use a dog door, and has been allowed to roam free on a farm with our other dog and the farm animals for the past two years. She doesn’t chase the farm animals, nor wild life. Shelby’s quite content to walk calmly on or off leash and will stay indoors for many hours without a fuss. She’s been trained and will sit, stay, lie down and come on demand. Shelby is a bit insecure and timid, she gets nervous around the vacuum, and around loud noises - for example she eats in a heavy dog bowl because she gets scared if her bowl moves. Once she gets to know you Shelby is very friendly and loves to snuggle.

Story
Biscuit is a very sweet loving dog. She enjoys a quiet type of environment and loves lots of affection. She would be best for a single or married couple with no children. Possible trauma in her past so she may be skittish at times, but once she knows you she is extreme;y loyal and protective. I am so sorry to have to rehome her. She was my girlfriends baby and sadly she passed last year. I travel often for work and don't have the resources to adequately care for Biscuit, thus I believe rehoming her is in her best interest. She will be a wonderful addition to the right owner(s).

Story
jolene is such a playful goofball that is super easy to train! she’s the best cuddler & loves to be with her humans. she loves to go on hikes, play fetch, & use tug toys. she is also super clumsy which makes play time very fun & full of laughter. jolene is a nervous girl though & needs someone who is patient. she is timid w/ strangers in the house but is perfectly happy to be crated while they're over. she will come out after everyone has settled in to say hello & return herself to the crate if she is feeling nervous again. she has made great strides since i’ve had her & see her only improving more. she is well trained & walks nicely on leash. jolene needs to be an only pet & no children in the house (has never been around them). energy level: medium — needs regular exercise but loves to couch potato. weight: 42 lbs house & crate trained available to meet & rehome anywhere in new england; will bring all supplies.
