Story
I found MUTT as a stray in Flint, MI approximately 4 years ago. He immediately fit right in at home and has since joined us on our many travels spanning most of the United States. As our family started to grow, MUTT began to develop a bit of a protective streak and out of pure precaution, we no longer feel comfortable with him around our baby... so we are unfortunately looking to rehome him. He has recently been neutered and is absolutely great with friends, family & other dogs/cats, but is very protective when it comes to his home environment. Some care/precautions will be necessary when it comes to introducing him to new people on his home turf as he does have a bite history with strangers entering his domain unannounced. After proper introductions, MUTT is sweet as pie and has zero issues outside of his domain/in public. He is an absolute STAR at the dog park and anywhere we take him in general as he is highly social and friendly. MUTT is extremely obedient and has been trained offl

Story
Nola was rescued from going to a shelter. She was dropped off to me covered in fleas, with worms, an eye infection, an UTI and very dirty. She has since been treated for all of the above, is now also up to date on her shots and has been spayed. I was told prior to agreeing to taker her in that she was good with cats and children but that has turned out to not been the case unfortunately. She is a sweet dog but would be better suited for a house with no other pets or children so I am hoping to find a good fit for her. She would do well in the right forever home.

Story
Macy is 35lbs and 7 years young. She was originally rescued from the natural disaster efforts in Louisiana. She is part of a bonded pair with her adopted brother, Rusty. Rusty was adopted from a shelter when he was 12 weeks old. He’s 30lbs and 10 years young. They recently lost their humans when both unexpectedly passed away within 9 months of each other and a family friend that took them in can no longer care for them. They are the absolute sweetest dogs in need of a furever retirement home together with lots of cuddles, love, and belly scratches! Their favorite pastimes are sunbathing in the summer, looking out the window for hours on end (neighborhood watch duty extraordinaires!) and cuddling/lounging around. They’ve cohabitated with a bunny rabbit (that they took in as their own!), but must be the only dogs in the home. They love love LOVE everyone they meet, including children!

**KNOWS BASIC COMMANDS** Hello, I'm Kane. At first glance you'd think this is one big, bad - well I'll stop right there. I'm a gentle(dog)man and don't want to use bad words. But yes, you would think that. I have a large bark and an intimidating look. Beneath it all, I'm really just a lover. I'm energic and have a kind heart despite being beaten by my former owner. When this was discovered, I was saved. Will you continue the mission and be my hero? Please adopt me and maybe we can rescue each other with love and loyalty.

Story
First - the adoption fee will be sent to the Michigan Humane Society to help with all the animals they rescue. I have had this sweet, kiss giving girl for several months now. I got her thru a friend of a friend when her one and only owner passed and the owner's family could not keep the dog. They thought she was about 8 or 9 years old. She was raised with an invisible fencing system. I do not have one. I do not have a fenced in yard. I take her on walks during the day. I am a Senior citizen and I am not steady on my feet and I have poor balance. She has pulled me down once and I am afraid of it happening again. She is so sweet and loves to sit next to you and cuddle. She does not realize her strength. She would do great with a house full of kids or a Senior with a fenced yard. She should be in a cat free household. She loves to play fetch and actually brings the ball back & gives it to you! Please help me find a good home for this sweet girl
