Meet our foster Stryker (though I think Picasso suits his sweet, goofy face better!). This lovable pup was nearly euthanized by his previous owners. Thankfully, we stepped in just hours before his appointment and he's been showing us what a truly great dog he is ever since. Stryker is a fun, cuddly, and polite companion. He is fully house and potty trained and knows several commands. He greets each morning with happy tippy taps and brings joy with his silly personality and chill, loving nature. We've tested his behavior with people and have had zero issues. He is reactive to seeing other dogs, but think he can improve. He's a good boy who just wants love and a little patience. While he lived with other dogs and cats before, we do recommend a pet-free home so he can fully thrive. He deserves a fresh start in a calm, loving environment. If we didn't already have a full house, we would absolutely keep him ourselves. His shots are updated and we have his vet records.

A big lug but a softy. Simon is a good dog but he doesn't really do much. He's not much of a player nor does he enjoy running but a good nap and a comfy spot on the floor are his go-tos. Meet Mango, You will fall in love! Sweet Mango is about 40# and around 9 months old, slightly on the taller side. He is currently at the shelter learning to be brave and getting there every day. He is there with his sister Melon. They both are looking for a wonderful foster or adopter. They do not need to be adopted or fostered together, this is just the current situation he is in and we love the puppy playtime in the meantime. Mango is a bit on the shyer, quiet side which may change once he gets more confident. We already see him coming out of his shell. He can be the only dog or would be happy to have a dog brother or sister that can show him the ropes, with slow and proper introductions. This is Peanut’s story: In August of 2024, I saw a post from an acquaintance about some dogs he had found in a garage. They were being kept in there 24/7 with no food or water. After the post being up for a few days, I reached out and offered to take them and keep them until I could find a permanent home. I took these dogs in, one of which being Peanut, and got them healthy and began to get some weight on them. Unfortunately, my hope of them becoming “foster fails” fell apart when the dog I already had was rejecting the new family members. Now that Peanut is healthy, I would like to find a home that works better for her. She is estimated at about 1 year old, not fixed yet. She is a very playful pup who loves running in the yard and going for walks or just cuddling with you. She is crate trained and from my experience, does good in public. She is young and could use more training, but she is a sweetheart that deserves a full life and not the current crate and switch in my home.
