Story
This dog needs consistent work with training. We have had her for about 5 years and with our growing family we do not have the time and effort to put into the training. Training needs mainly include food-snatching, counter surfing and staying off tables/counters, and leash training. She is very loving and needs a home that can accommodate her high energy and food anxiety.

Story
Hi, I’m Dakota and I was saved from a high kill shelter in Memphis. My “foster mom” was having a slight emotional breakdown when she saw a picture of me. She just knew I deserved a chance. She watched me climb up the euthanasia list for a few days until I was next. I was scheduled to die that day. I’m just a year old, and never really got a chance at life. So, with emotions high she did something crazy. She adopted me over the phone, hired pet sitters to break me out and watch me. She set up transport, and I rode in a private plane to Michigan. I was so scared, but I’ve been the bestest boy. Now, I’m coming out of my shell and learning what it’s like to be loved and to be a dog. I have puppy energy and antics, but I am eager to please and am learning so fast! I love my dog and cat friends, but I’m still learning boundaries and I play a little rough. I would do best with patient animals in the home. I am HW positive, but treatment is free from the shelter.

Story
Roo was breed on an Amish farm. I went to visit the farm because they avertised puppies for sale. I was looking for a midsized dog. The farm brought Roo to me, working hard to get me to choose her. Her brother came over to see what was going on.There was a dog there with a broken leg that had not been seen be vet and I couldn't leave the puppies so I took them both. She is a sweet girl that loves food and car ride, although she gets car sick. Roo is shy. She hangs back in a crowd and waits her turn for a pet. She doesn't much care for groups of dog friends but doesn't mind one or 2. She has no formal training if you want her to sit-stay or Come she will need training. She is also a bit bossy and will tell other dogs and cats when they can play.
