Story
Jemili (Jem) is a very high-energy, loving, snuggly pit bull terrier mix who we think is about 5 years old. He's very loyal and loves his people, once he gets to know them. However, he can sometimes be nervous around strangers, and he is defensive of his home. We adopted him from the Humane Rescue Alliance two years ago, and he has made significant progress in crate training, clicker training, mat training, and overcoming separation anxiety. He now has reached a point where he can spend 8 hours per day by himself without any sign of distress, and since he has started taking paroxetine, he has become more relaxed. A few things that we think would be important for Jem to live his best life in a new home would be: extra space so Jem can be separated when guests visit; owners having some time and resources to commit to continuing periodic training; owners with experience having worked with nervous dogs; and owners who can be patient while Jem warms up.

Story
Ted is my 5 year old netherland dwarf rabbit. We recently moved in with a cat and unfortunately my rabbit and the cat are not getting along. The most ideal home would be a quiet home without other pets or a home with a separate room away from other pets. Upon adoption he will come with hay and pellets.

Story
Pepper is extremely gentle and kind. She has alot of energy and likes to run and play. She plays well with other dogs. She is extremely loyal and gives plenty of hugs and kisses. She loves to run around outside in the yard. I adopted her as an pup from a shelter in 2020. She was rescued on the streets with her siblings. She's fully grown at 22lbs. I need to rehome her because I no longer have a yard for her to play in or space for her where I'm currently residing and I don't wanna keep her locked up.

Sam is approximately 7 years old. She ended up at HRA after her owner passed away. She joined us 7/2021. She had an ACL repair and is currently taking Trazodone twice daily for anxiety. Meds are no issue with pill pockets or similar. She enjoys balls, belly rubs, naps, chew toys. She walks well on leash (harness recommended); knows basic commands like sit, stay, house (crate), potty.  She does bark at people approaching the house (UPS, FedEx, etc). She is not a picky eater and has no known food allergies. She is housetrained and crate trained. She doesn't like to be left alone. Will rehome with collar, leash, harness, bed, small supply of food, toys. Looking for a home where she can get the attention she deserves.
