Story
Virgil is a big, sweet guy. He loves to please people and will instantly want to be your best friend and doggy helper. He has been living with my wife and me for eight months and has never bitten anyone or any other animals. He was left with us by our daughter-in-law as her marriage with our son was coming unglued. One day in August, she left and moved 800 miles away. She said she would come back for him, but now reports that the apartment she has leased won't allow her to keep big dogs, so she is not coming back for him. We have done our best with Virgil, but we're getting older, and Virgil is more dog than we can handle. He also needs a proper outdoor space since he likes to move about, but we don't have a fenced yard. He is big and cuddly, a gentle giant, who does well with children and has lots of energy for running, hikes, and playing with other dogs. We will miss him, but he needs a pet guardian who can give him the space and attention he deserves.

Story
Lily is a three year old loving, friendly, affectionate, female. She was adopted approximately ten months ago. Due to increased schedule demands within the house, we are unable to properly care for her and we feel it is unfair to keep her locked up for long periods of time. Though she is house broken, Lily enjoys long walks and activites that allow her to run off leash. Lily is crate trained and she will go in it willingly. When we first adopted her she was skittish around other dogs, however we put in alot of time and effort to where she will walk by another dog without barking. At home, Lily does not bark, not if there is a knock on the door or even if the door bell rings. Lily has not been around a cat, however on one of our many walks she did see a cat and she paid no attention to it.
