Story
Mountain Cur Beagle Mix. Sugar and Spice and everything nice, these are the 3 ingredients to making the perfect little girl. Blossom is the older sister to Buttercup and Bubbles (adopted) and is so ready to be adopted! Blossom loves to play in water and can spend hours having a blast. No matter if it is a pool or sprinkler, she will find a way to have fun. Once the fun is over and it’s time for a nap, you can find Blossom relaxing in the pool as if it was a hot tub. Blossom will need some basic household training, but she is smart enough to catch on quickly. Blossom can spend hours rough housing with her sister Buttercup while out in the yard together. She is great with cats, dogs, and children. Blossom is ready for adoption, are you ready to rescue? If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Story
Meet Sammy – Your Ultimate Adventure Buddy! Sammy is a handsome 3-year-old black mountain cur mix with a sweet and loyal nature. At 60 pounds, he’s the perfect size for active adventures and cozy cuddles at the end of the day. An outdoor enthusiast, Sammy loves hiking, neighborhood strolls, and even a splash or swim in the water. His boundless curiosity and energy make him the ideal partner for exploring new trails or enjoying the great outdoors. Plus, he’s a rising star in scent training, working toward his advanced certification—he’s practically a gold medalist in the making! And when the day winds down, he loves cuddling and hanging out by your side, making him the perfect companion. Rescued from a euthanasia shelter, Sammy is now ready to find his forever family. This sweet boy thrives as the only dog in the home and would do best in a household without cats or young children. He gives all his love and loyalty to his family and would love to be your one and only companion. Sammy is already a pro on car rides, and although he’s still perfecting his leash manners, he’s eager to learn and impress. During a recent overnight with a volunteer, Sammy showed his true colors in a home setting:"Sammy was incredible! He slept soundly through the night, had no accidents, and was such a calm, loving presence. He enjoyed running in the yard, going on walks, and meeting new people. Sammy is so easy to adore and will be an amazing addition to the right family." Despite all his wonderful qualities, Sammy continues to be overlooked—and it’s time for his luck to change. Could you be the one to give him the adventure-filled, loving life he’s been waiting for? If you’re ready to welcome a fun-loving, affectionate, and loyal companion into a peaceful, pet-free home, Sammy is waiting to meet you. Let’s give this incredible boy the forever family he deserves! Story
Hi! Henry was bought in northern Ohio and he is 4 years old. I am moving out of state for my job and I will have no yard. Henry is fun, silly, playful, and so loving. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But with no yard and difficult hours with my new job and relocation I want to find Henry the best family and life situation for him. He has loved every animal, child, and human we have ever encountered. He loves to cuddle, run, play, and lay by a warm fire or heater. He is too good of a dog for city life so I am trying this option to see if I can match him with you.
