Her name is Bella. She’s a 10 month old Mountain Cur. She is potty trained and crate trained. She loves people and is great with kids and other dogs. She’s never been around a cat. She loves to walk and run and as you can see from the video she loves to play with/chew on sticks. She also loves her ball! She is playful and energetic and would love a good fenced yard to run and play in! She has also been on a couple of coon hunting trips and is beginning to learn that as well. Dixie is a 50 lb mixed breed.  Best guess is that she is a Mt. Cur mix. She is sweet and playful.  She loves people and seems to be fine around other dogs.  We do not know how she is with cats or children.   She is highly energetic and will require a home that is willing to provide her plenty of exercise. Anyone interested her must stop in to meet here and complete an application to be considered.   10/15/2024---Dixie is now enrolled in our prison program for training.  Anyone interested in her must schedule an appointment to meet her (she will stay at the prison until she is adopted.....she is NOT at the shelter) Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. His boundless curiosity and energy make him the ideal partner for exploring new trails or enjoying the great outdoors. Plus, he’s a rising star in scent training, working toward his advanced certification—he’s practically a gold medalist in the making! And when the day winds down, he loves cuddling and hanging out by your side, making him the perfect companion. Rescued from a euthanasia shelter, Sammy is now ready to find his forever family. This sweet boy thrives as the only dog in the home and would do best in a household without cats or young children.
