Story
On March 29th of this year 2024, our beautiful Lumina gave birth to 12 puppies and raised everyone of them to a place that they are now seeking adoptions.  Every0ne of these precious babies survived because of the great love and mothering skills of this Mountain Cur mix girl.  We call her Lumina because she illuminates the world with her kind spirit and sweetness.  When you look into her eyes you see a connection of love and hope. Lumina was a stray and discovered by a woman in Tennessee right at the time that she was almost ready to give birth.  Lumina has a calm spirit and someone will be so lucky to have her as their very own.  She has some anxiety about being left alone but with time she will come to understand that she will not be abandoned by new family.   She is housebroken pretty much and easy going and goes with the flow within a family’s lifestyle rhythm.   She is loving, adaptable, gorgeous and kind.   Gets along with all other creatures and loves the 4 year old toddler in the family.  A busy little boy who she loves to see.   If you interested in this girl please let us know and we will be so happy to send you an application if you email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Please also tell us where you live:  city and state.  We are in Nashville, TN but we also transport northward from Tennessee to New England and stop in 5 states on our route northward.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 4, 2024, 10:14 pm

Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2024, 10:14 pm

Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with slow introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: Yes Meet Ezran! A very sweet, human-loving boy, with endless silly-ness to share! Ezran loves every human he has met while being in his foster home. He has so much love to give, and will benefit greatly from consistent training. While still working on not jumping on people out of joy, Ezran is so excited to see everyone he meets, and he loves giving kisses. Ezran knows his basic commands (sit, down, paw) and is extremely smart and a great listener. He is house and crate trained! After not having been around dogs for 4 years, he was slowly introduced to a dog while in foster care and has been doing great. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting dogs, but once he starts to warm up and feel comfortable he is a great doggy friend who understands cues and backs off when needed.Still is a puppy at heart. A moderately active family will suit his energy level best.  He loves a good game of fetch and will bring a toy/ball to you when he wants to play and he loves doing zoomies! He loves to sniff and go on walks, however will need additional help learning to not pull. It’s not his fault every smell must be sniffed!! After some fun, he loves to hang out and take a nap.  Ezran can be a nervous boy and will need a family that continues to work on his confidence. While in foster, he has shown tremendous improvement as time has progressed and he has gained trust. As much as he loves to be in your business, he also appreciates his space. As trust is gained, he has shown more and more willingness to share some cuddles. Ezran can’t wait to meet be introduced to his new, happy home, and to share all of the love in the world with his humans! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.October 3, 2024, 11:33 am

**MEET ME AT OUR 10/5 ADOPTION EVENT IN WINCHESTER**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: MostlyHouse Trained: Yes Dundee is a playful, friendly and curious boy. He is a medium energy puppy, who enjoys going for walks and playing with toys. He is a social butterfly and makes friends everywhere he goes. He is fostered in a multi dog household and plays wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. He would make a wonderful candidate for doggy daycare. Though he has not met cats with his gentle disposition he would likely do well with them. He has met children as young as three years old and was very sweet and patient with them. He is a fast learner and eager to please. He has learned “sit” and is very food motivated. Dundee is fully house trained and alerts by the door when he needs to go potty. He is mostly crate trained, and may whine for a few minutes before settling. Dundee loves going for walks around the neighborhood, and walks well on leash. He is looking for a family who will continue teaching him basic puppy manners and shower him with love. Is Dundee Australia your newest mate? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
