Story
Honestly, Sara is near perfect! If you are looking for a furry friend that isn't a Doodle, then stop and read about Sara. First of all, a little backstory on her. Sarah belonged to an older couple and was loved and adored. You can tell how well cared for and loved she has been. The husband passed away, and the wife went to live with family in Middle, Tennessee, but quickly had a stroke. The family she is currently living with already have a dog and a cat and work full-time so adding another medically fragile human and another dog is just overwhelming for them. They are trying everything to find Sara a great home and so are we! Sarah is between five and six years old and around 60 pounds. She is completely housetrained, loves other dogs and is fine with cats. She is a love bug and is eager to please. She's good on a leash, doesn't bark, doesn't chew things up, sits on command and will go to her bed upon being told to. Sara seems to mimic the energy of the other dog in the household. He's super low-key so she is super low-key! However, if another dog wants to play, she would probably play. She sits patiently at the door if she has to go potty. She doesn't scratch at it and just sits so sweetly waiting. Sara doesn't require crating either. She is just a super dog with the best disposition! If you think she might be a good addition to your home, email Storkwoods@comcast.net and request an application. She will melt your heart! We have transport available!!

This sweet girl has a beautiful orange and black brindle hair coat that reminds you of a tiger, which is how she got her name. Her favorite things in life besides regular meals and snacks are squeaky toys, antlers, and chew toys. She already knows sit and is very responsive to training. She is great with all her dog buddies in her foster home and can easily keep up with the giants and the littles amongst the group. While she has not met a cat yet, being a puppy with a submissive personality, she would most likely adjust to a home with a dog-savvy cat. Tiger Lily is good with kids as well.Tiger Lily is medium energy and crates easily for treats and meals and will sleep for hours after a good walk or romp outside. She is house trained if let out every 4 hours or so. Once on a regular routine, she should adapt quickly. Tiger Lily walks well on a leash and is very submissive when meeting any new dogs while on leash. She’s curious about everything around her, and If she trusts you, she will go anywhere you go. Tiger Lily loves people and will be a great addition to her new family! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesHi! My name is Lizzie aka Lizzie Lou or Wizzie Woo! I am a sweet and shy girl. Once I warm up, l am such a love!I had a bit of a rough start at first, but things are really looking up! I have discovered that I LOVE kids! I am good with cats, and I like other dogs a lot! I'm just a very good girl. I am super smart and learn very fast! Since coming to my foster home, I have learned to potty outside, be around cats, be around kids, and learned what it is to be part of a family! I get along with everyone and love to be with my humans as much as possible! My favorite person right now is my foster kid! She is 12 and the very best! I feel safest around older kids who are gentle and kind to animals. When I first came to my foster family, I was unsure about everything except the kid. I sleep in her room. I can sleep in the kennel or out of the kennel, but I prefer to be close to my people. Did I mention that I'm a very good girl!? I'm shy at first, but once you get to know me, I have quite the personality! If I want your attention, I will just "dob" you with my cold, wet nose to let you know! My foster family calls me Mrs. Dobbins because of this!I really hope that you are as excited about meeting me as I am about meeting you!We are about to have a ton of fun!Lots of Love,LizziePlease Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. **MEET ME AT OUR 2/2 ADOPTION EVENT IN MARBLEHEAD!**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Unknown, likely yesCrate trained: Mostly House trained: YesScout is a curious, sweet pup ready to be your best friend for life! He is the ultimate cuddle bug and will likely do well in any home ready to take on a puppy. Scout is a typical medium-energy pup, where he loves to play with you and then take a nap immediately after. He gets along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes, so he'd likely be fine with or without another dog in the home. His friendly personality will likely do well with a cat or kid sibling. He is a smart boy learning the ropes of puppyhood, quickly picking up basic commands like ‘sit’. Scout is mostly crate trained and house-trained. He is crated occasionally throughout the day and may bark and whine for a few minutes at first but settle quickly. He also sleeps in his crate overnight without a peep. Scout has had zero accidents since coming north and will continue to need to be taken out regularly as a young pup. He is improving his leash skills and enjoys his daily walks. Scout’s got the best ears in town as part of the ‘one up, one down’ ear club. He will surely have you falling in love with him in no time- is he the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
