Intake Reason: Surrendered to WCHS, Not housebroken/Too loudWeight: 12 pounds Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Attended doggy daycare, lived with a 2-year old female bichon/poodle. Does well in playgroups. ·Kids: Good, exposed to a 12 and 19-year oldFun Facts About Me:•Ok, so I am cute and furry and small, but I am certainly not a frou-frou couch potato dog who wants to be babied and carried around all the time•I am an active and playful guy who thinks it is a ton of fun to play fetch with balls and frisbees•Truth be told, although I do like to get outside every day, I am not a huge fan of frigid winter temperatures, so perhaps I could get my steps indoors on nasty weather days•When I am out on a walk, I like to power-walk and explore•I never really developed a signal to ask to go outside because I got in the habit of using piddle pads inside. I am willing to work on house training behaviors if you give me lots of praise and yummy treats when I go outside with you and potty•In my previous home I had a fenced yard where I could play and get some exercise•Some have described me as stubborn and independent but I prefer to think I am just a chap who knows what I want and am not a clingy Velcro dog•That does not mean I’m not an affectionate lover-boy; I certainly have a quiet, tranquil and cuddly side to my personality•I am not a fan of thunderstorms and think if I bark at them, they will go away; it has worked sometimes in the past•I do know the cue for ‘sit’ and think it might be enjoyable to do some training with you or perhaps try some mentally challenging games•I got used to having my kibble in a slow-feed bowl and I could graze all day; I might like to try a foraging mat and give my nose a challenge#1
