Ideal Home Poppy would do best in a loving home prepared for the needs of a very young, small-breed puppy. Because of her tiny size, she should be handled gently and supervised carefully around larger dogs and young children. She will thrive in a home where she receives companionship, structure, and consistent care. Owner Responsibilities Poppy will need: Frequent potty breaks and supervision Consistent routine and positive reinforcement training Early socialization and gentle exposure to new environments Safe chew toys and guidance during teething Regular grooming and coat maintenance Toy-breed puppies require extra attentiveness due to their small size and delicate build. Things to Consider (Tiny Puppy Life) Adopting Poppy means being prepared for: Potty training and accidents Teething and chewing behaviors A puppy who cannot be left alone for long periods Ongoing grooming needs Long-term commitment and care Small puppies can be fragile, so supervision and safe handling are extremely important. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Poppy will blossom beautifully. Veterinary Care Poppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to complete her puppy vaccine series and be spayed when age-appropriate. Ongoing care should include: Routine veterinary visits Preventative care (flea, tick, heartworm) Monitoring growth, nutrition, and dental health Consistent veterinary care is essential for small-breed puppies as they grow. Important Note Poppy is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside.
