Story
We have made the extremely difficult decision to look for a new home for our seven year old morkie (Maltese/yorkie) Baron. We love him but don’t feel we have the capacity to give him the care he needs in this season with a 2 year old and baby. Baron is around 12 pounds, loves walks and treats, and is the snuggliest guy you’ll ever meet, but we strongly suspect he was a puppy mill dog, so he has some pretty severe anxiety and does best when kept on a steady stream of daily Prozac. His ideal home would be one with no other dogs, no kids (he is not a fan), and an owner who is home often and has more time and mental capacity to spoil him. He is also a stereotypical little man guard dog who will bark down (or try to) any perceived threat, so a home with less foot traffic visible from the house would be the dream. He is house trained but absolutely hates to be crated so would do best with someone home often or okay with allowing him to roam.

Story
Irish is a 2 year old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. Irish is a super cute, feisty little redhead who loves to play with toys and play chase with other dogs. Irish loves being close to and cuddling with her people. She is crate trained and potty trained. Irish needs a home with a securely fenced backyard since she is curious about the outside world and can be creative about finding ways to get out and about. Irish is still a bit cautious with new people, but she warms up quickly. If you are interested in Irish, please complete an application, and an adoption counselor will follow up with you.

Story
Hello this is Frodo, he is 2. I got Frodo from a shelter out in California. Frodo is a really special, smart, loving fur baby. He gets in his carrier bag super easy, knows how to pee &poop on peed pad,& knows how to potty outside. He still needs to be on a strict schedule. He knows a couple tricks. He gets along with people, but when outside he always barks at other dogs. He did grow up with a Chihuahua I had that now has a new family,&a cat that he gets along with. Now because of him barking at other dogs, I prefer he either be the only fur baby in the house or he can have a sibling, but they have to be a small dog or a cat. He does tend to bark when I am not at my apartment if he hears noises outside, so I prefer he be at a house not an apartment or any home living connected to another person. I also prefer that he has a backyard that he can go potty at. He needs to be with someone financially stable, since he is not a cheap breed,& with someone who works from home, no kids.
