Story
Meet Peppermint & Patty – The Perfect Snuggle Sisters! Looking for a pair of adorable, pint-sized cuddle bugs? Meet Peppermint and Patty, two sweet and loving sisters (though not from the same litter) who are ready to find their forever home! 🐶 Peppermint is about 5 years old and has the cutest Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix look with soft, floppy ears. She’s the more outgoing of the two and will be your instant best friend! 🐶 Patty is around 2 years old and might be a Yorkie/Chihuahua or Yorkie/Terrier mix, rocking those perky little ears. She’s a bit shy at first but quickly warms up—especially if you engage her in some fun hand-play! 🌟 Why You’ll Love Them: ✔ Champion Cuddlers – These girls absolutely adore being petted and snuggled. ✔ Super Smart – They’ve mastered the doggie door and are fully house-trained! ✔ Well-Behaved – They sleep peacefully in their crate at night. ✔ Loyal Companions – They come running when you call, eager for affection. While they’d love to stay together (they truly are the best of friends), they’re also happy and independent enough to thrive separately. Whether you’re looking for one or two loving little companions, Peppermint and Patty are ready to fill your home with love! Are you ready to give these sweet girls the forever home they deserve? 💕🐾 We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Hi there! My name is Mollie Rotten - my mom has spoiled me, hence the rotten part, but everyone calls me Mollie! I am a 12-year-old Morkie (Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier mix) that carries the current title for Diva dog. Why some people think that's a bad thing is beyond ME! I am very healthy, active and affectionate. O.K. so it MAY be true that I'm a bit demanding as well. I mean being petted/snuggled, playing tug-o-war and going for two walks a day IS de rigueur after all, is it not? Don't worry, I will definitely let you know if my needs are not being met. I will bark when over-stimulated, so apartment living is not a good idea. I require a house with a fenced backyard and ideally, a doggie door. I am allergic to grass as well as some pollens, so I need to be on treatment for that. I am also accustomed to being groomed regularly as my coat can get way too long, and that makes it both hard to see and uncomfortable (think mats). I get along well with other small dogs (not big ones) and with cats, but not young children. Oh, and one other thing: I'm a girl's girl. I'm not particularly fond of men, so I am looking for my new furever home to be with a lady who will be home most, if not all, of the day. My current mom has some serious health issues, so she can no longer care for me in the manner to which I have become accustomed. I know the right and perfect new mommy - one with lots of doggie experience - is out there looking for ME right now, and I can't wait to meet you! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Mollie, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Cutie truly lives up to his name! This pint-sized pup may be small in stature, but his personality fills the room. He loves to zoom around the yard like he owns the place, yet comes running at top speed the moment you call his name, eagerly jumping into your arms. When you squat down to greet him, Cutie stands on his back legs with his front paws outstretched, literally asking for a hug! Cutie is best described as "high energy but low effort" – he loves his zoomie sessions around the yard or living room then, he's perfectly content to curl up on your lap for cuddle time. Cutie has great house manners and is already potty and crate trained. He does well in his crate and loves going on car rides. Cutie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with his furry friends, but he hasn't been tested with cats yet. Does Cutie sound like he might be a good fit for your home? Apply to meet him today!
