He is your favorite cooking companion waiting for any bits to fall to the floor. He is extremely loyal, although cautious at first to new people once he gets to know you will be your best friend. Medjai has a little anxiety of being left alone so having a good plan for that will be helpful.

Meet Shania, our beautiful little comeback girl — and just like her country music namesake, she’s ready for a brand-new chapter filled with love, understanding, and the right environment to truly shine. Shania is a sweet JRT/Westie mix girl who is happy, lively and just 1-year, weighing just 12 pounds. Her look is a charming wiry coat paired with an absolutely darling personality. She enjoys leash walks, watching the world go by, and will happily investigate any squirrel bold enough to cross her path. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and is friendly with men she meets out in public. Inside the home, however, Shania needs a very specific setup to feel safe and secure. Due to something in her past, she becomes protective if a man lives in the home and believes she must guard the woman she loves. Because of this, Shania needs a female-only household with no men living in the home. In the right environment, she relaxes, settles beautifully, and shows just how loving and joyful she truly is. She is currently working on potty training and does well using potty pads, and with continued consistency, she will keep improving. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Coco Chanel is available for adoption. She is 4 years old and weighs 9.7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $700.00. My name is Coco Chanel. I came into the care of SAYR on Saturday November 8th from a caring family in NY that could know longer look after me. I am now staying with Lori & Mitch in NJ. Even though I have a lot of energy, being only 4 years and 7 months, I was on my best behavior in the car going to NJ. I was a little nervous the first day but I quickly got very comfortable. I'm still learning the ropes on a few things. I heard that I will be going for a check up at the Vet this coming Tuesday and I plan on greeting the doctor with a lot of barking - sometimes I just cannot help myself when I see someone, except for Mitch. I like to shadow him. I'll let you know how the doctors visit goes. Oh, and one other thing, I think someone bought me a gift. I'm not sure but it could be a winter coat with a CC symbol on it. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Pearly is available for adoption. She is 9 months old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $1,000.00. Pearly came to us as an owner surrender along with her brother, Jack. Pearly is a 9 month old puppy who weighs about 7 pounds.  Pearly was very loved in her prior home and comes into the rescue a very happy pup with good potty manners.  This little girl is the perfect mix of lap sitter and playfulness. Pearly would do well with a fur sibling to play with. Pearly also will need a fenced yard because she loves to run.  We are working on leash manners and she is doing quite well.  This little fluffball is not only beautiful, but also she is very smart.  This is one happy little girl who is always busy, but not too busy for a belly rub!
