Story
We got Roxy from a breeder about 8 months ago as a companion for our other Yorkie. She is 3 years old, 7 pounds, 100% Yorkshire Terrier, and never had a litter. Roxy is an absolute sweetheart, very affectionate. She will snuggle in your lap all day long if you let her. She is shy around new people but warms up quickly and almost always comes when called. House training is ongoing but we have been seeing some success using a clicker and treats. We love Roxy, but despite being shy she has become a bully to our other dog, picking fights on occasion. Roxy will likely do best in a household with no other dogs (we don’t know about cats) and with people who can patiently continue to work on the potty training. She never learned to walk on a leash and isn’t especially fond of walks, but I think that can change with patient and dedicated owners. This has not been an easy decision for us. We are looking for just the right family because above all we want her to have a good life.
