Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dodger's adoption donation is $500 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He’s been fully vetted, including neuter, microchip, all core vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, Bordetella), heartworm negative and on prevention, flea prevention, and even a dental cleaning—he's sparkling from the inside out! Meet Dodger – Your New Best Friend! Dodger is a bright-eyed, affectionate little guy who's ready to steal your heart and maybe even your spot on the couch. This sweet pup came to rescue after his former owner could no longer care for him, and while his journey has had a few twists and turns, Dodger has never lost his zest for life—or his love for cuddles! Dodger thrives on companionship. He adores being near his person and gives the sweetest kisses you’ll ever receive. He also enjoys playtime with other dogs and would love a playful pup friend around his size and energy level to share adventures—and maybe a toy or two. That said, he’s also totally fine taking some quiet time to himself to recharge. He’s making great progress with potty training when kept on a schedule, and he's learning that meals don’t have to be rushed—a lesson he’s taking to heart with the help of a loving foster home. Dodger is leash and crate trained, does well in the car, and is the perfect combo of smart, silly, and oh-so-snuggly. He’s eager to please, loves toys, and brings a goofy charm to everything he does. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow who will love you with his whole heart, make you laugh daily, and be the best sidekick you could imagine—Dodger is your guy. He’s ready to start his next chapter. Could it be with you?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable so, in many cases, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Our Adoption Process The adoption process has several steps involved. Please review prior to submitting an application. Our adoption process is detailed here:  http://www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/info/adoption Our volunteers work very diligently to process each application and we try to ensure that we are making the best match possible for each dog.  We do not schedule meetings with dogs until an application has been approved.  It can take up to a few weeks to process an application or as little time as a few days, from the time you submit an application, please be prepared to adopt as we cannot hold dogs. Special Requirements Some dogs may have special requirements (for example, medications, a fence) -- if you apply for a dog, please be sure to read over the biography completely to see if there are any special needs and if you're home would be suitable.  If we indicate on the dog's biography that a fence is required, this means your home must have a physical fence.  Other dogs may require a "strong vet reference" which indicates that we are looking for a home that has a documented history of veterinary care with previous pets.  The first step in our process is to submit an online adoption application at www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/forms.  The application MUST include the personal references and veterinary, grooming, and landlord references (if applicable) and their respective contact information.  If you do not include the references and the contact information, your application will be delayed as it CANNOT be processed.  Once the references have been successfully completed, a home visit is then scheduled when a rescue representative can meet all members of the family or residents of the home.  No application is approved prior to the home visit being done.   At that point, the Directors will discuss any and all applications on a foster dog and make a selection--in many cases, there are multiple applications for each dog, so please be understanding that our only priority is the successful placement of each of our foster dogs. Out of State Adoptions We do adopt out of state to outstanding applicants, however, our process requires a home visit, so out of state adoptions can take longer.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters should be prepared to pick up the dog in Central Ohio.  April 2, 2025, 11:34 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Morgan's adoption donation is $500 and she is being fostered in North Carolina. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. She has also had a dental cleaning. Morgan came to rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. She likes to be where ever her person is; she loves being a lap dog most of all. Morgan gets along with all dogs and loves to play however she wants to be with her person most of all. While another dog is not neccessary, it is prederred as she always has been with itjer dogs and might have anxiety if she is all alone. She is great on potty training when kept on schedule. Morgan loves to eat anything She eats super fast so a slow bowl is neccessary. It's advisable not to leave any food within her reach. She is excellent on a leash so a fenced yard is not required. Morgan is going to be the best friend you ever had.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marlowe’s adoption donation is $600 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention.  She has also had a dental cleaning. Marlowe requires a secure, physically fenced yard. Marlowe is a petite, young white pom/yorkie mix who came into rescue through no fault of her own. She is 100% pure puppy! She LOVES to play, play AND play!  She is very good at entertaining herself, but also loves to play with dogs and even cats! She LOVES her human and is a very good snuggler. You will have no personal space with Miss Marlowe! At first Marlowe is a shy girl but with some love and patience she will start to open up and feel comfortable. She is very smart and is quite the escape artist, so a secured yard is a must. She is learning to enjoy walks and loves to run errands with her foster mom. The perfect home for Marlowe would be an active home with a fenced yard and no children under the age of 8-10 due to her small size.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog.
