Hi everyone I would like you to meet Pops (or as I call him Popsy) a very sweet, loving and special little boy. His life has not been an easy one. This little soul was abused and neglected his entire life by the people who were supposed to love and care for him. We were asked to take him and of course we said yes! Only skin and bones(6 lbs.),matted,not neutered and rotten teeth we got to work to make him healthy. And we did! Pops is 11 yrs. young and thinks hes a puppy definitely has a bounce in his step now that he is pain free! But mostly wants to chill with his person.He is utd,neutered and has had most of his teeth pulled and can now eat pain free. Pops is mostly house trained but will have accidents.Pops does well with other dogs as he has a few foster siblings. In spite of what he has been through he is a sweet,loving,happy boy he loves everyone and deserves a loving forever home. Needs to be in a home where someone is home all the time to constantly let it out & watch what she gets into. She has a hernia, which has been repaired once already, hind leg torn ccl but healed but still shouldn't jump or go down the stairs. She's usually carried but can't do that anymore now. She has allergies of some sort but not to food. Usually gets a shot every few months if scratching bad or has secondary infections. She has had in the past episodes of pancreatitis so along with her dry food she gets a vet wet food mixed in that's for gastro issues. This dog needs someone with ALOT of patience & can handle accidents in the house. If not, this dog will not be for you. She loves unconditionally & will get nervous when your not home but so excited when you are.

Ziggy is a really cute little guy with some quirks looking for the right home. He’s a 4 year old under 10lbs non-shedding little designer hybrid- his owner seemed to think they bought him as a purebred Shih tzu but he’s obviously not, and looks more like a morkie to us or maybe Maltese/Shih tzu 🤷‍♀️. They showed up at a local pound eager to drop him off immediately when they were moving, and we intercepted the little guy as he would have been terrified in the shelter. He’s mostly a happy little guy, though he’s definitely had some bad handling and grooming experiences and has had his discomfort ignored. So he has his moments where he will let you know adamantly he doesn’t want to be picked up or bothered, and isn’t a dress-up-and-carry-around type of toy dog. He’s nervous with strangers at first but once he bonds then he does want to be with his people. He can take or leave other dogs- he’s fine with smaller calmer ones but gets overwhelmed if they are in his face too much or don’t respect his space. He’s developed an unlikely friendship with our tiny puppy Iggy though, so it mostly depends on the dog and he has to pick his friends. Ziggy is looking for an adult home that understands little weirdos and won’t fuss and pick at him too much, giving him space makes him want the attention when he’s ready.
