Meet Little Charlie.This boy is new to PCHS, and understandably, quite nervous. He was found as a stray and had to be live trapped in order to be brought to safety! His coat was full of matting and debris so he had to be shaved completely. Now that he is clean and warm, he is ready to look for his forever home!Little Charlie has a very quiet and reserved disposition. Once he warms up to you, he enjoy being pet and and receiving attention. He is thought to be mix between a shih tzu and miniature poodle. He does not shed so he will need regular grooming for the rest of his life. Young, rambunctious kids might be too much for him, he would prefer an adult only home or a home with older kids. He may also do well with a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes!If Little Charlie sounds like a fit for you, apply online today!Adoption fee is $450 + $30 microchip + tax

They are scared and under-socialized, but with patience and kind routines, they can begin to feel safe and loved. 💖 Personality & Temperament * Very timid and unsure of people * Learning what it means to live indoors and be part of a family * Each dog is different—some may approach sooner, others may need more time to feel safe * Get along with other dogs 🏡 Ideal Home We’re looking for patient adopters who understand that these dogs are starting from scratch and will need time to adjust. Requirements & Important Notes: * Securely Fenced-in yard required: They are not leash trained yet and are too frightened for walks. * Somewhat potty trained: They’re learning to use pee pads indoors and will need continued guidance and routine. * Not leash trained: They will need time to get comfortable with a leash.
