Story
Jack is a one-year-old bundle of energy and love with two speeds: full throttle or fast asleep. He's always ready to play and enjoys every moment outside, especially when he's chasing after toys or playing fetch. Jack's athleticism is no joke-he's got impressive jumping skills and has even leaped straight into arms from the ground! He even learned how to ring the bell on his fosters home to let them know if he wants to go outside! Jack is also a quick learner and seems to understand commands well. His heart is just as big as his energy. He's incredibly social, never meeting a stranger, and adores getting attention from anyone who will give it. Oh, and don't mind Jack's current haircut! He had a bit of a rough start and needed a makeover, but no worries-his coat will grow back in no time! With Jack, every day is full of fun, play, and love! Story
Please welcome Calvin! He's a 2-year-old, 10-pound Yorkie mix. This poor guy was running loose for a while before someone finally caught him. He was very matted, but is looking quite dapper with his haircut. Calvin would prefer to have someone home with him as much as possible. He'd like to cuddle with you, and is pretty good with people in general. Although, he might bark at anyone who appears to be a threat to you. He is decent with the dogs and cat in his foster home. But, he may chase a cat who runs away. Calvin is fine in a car, and he is not bad on a leash. He prefers not to be contained in a crate while in the home. However, this is something that can be worked with. He definitely needs a secure leash, or very secure fence, anytime he is outdoors. We feel he should not be in a home with shared walls (I.e. apartment/condo) unless you're home with him most of the day. We are also unsure how he is with young children. Can you give this guy the new beginning, and happily ever after, that he deserves? https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $325. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers.
