She came in with severe dental disease, since then MFP has covered her dental surgery where 15 teeth were removed. She is healing in a foster home and with some love and care she will be feeling better in no time! From Myrtle: Hi there, Im Myrtle! I may be 10 years old, but Ive got plenty of love left to give! Im a sweet senior Maltese who is both blind and deaf, but dont let that fool youIm still full of heart and snuggles! Im looking for a cozy, quiet home where I can spend my golden years being pampered and loved. Im a little shy and startle easily, so Id do best in a home with no small children (they move too fast for me!). Older kids are okay, as long as they know how to be gentle with me. Id be the perfect companion for a retired person or someone who is home most of the time. My favorite thing is to cuddle up in my little bed and just relax while youre nearby. I do enjoy going out into the yard for little strollsI like feeling the grass under my paws! I also have a bit of a quirky nighttime routine, where I need to potty once or twice between 12am and 4am. So, my ideal family will be patient and understanding of my needs. I promise, Ill make up for it with lots of love and snuggles during the day!
