Story
Jesse will be 3 in Novemeber, and is 7lbs of pure love and cuteness. He was originally a pet and companion for an elderly family member who recently passed. He is a sweetheart, and just completed a 3 week board and train program to make sure he had basic commands mastered, is crate trained, leash training and social skills in a good place. He has spent a lot of time around kids (ages 5 and 7), and enjoys other small dogs. He loves affection, and needs a bit of structure to feel confident - but really lives to please. He's not used to being alone for extended periods of time as his previous home had people around most of the day, so remote workers or retired homes might be the ideal fit - or a home with a family with lots of love and attention to go around. He has pumpkin insurance paid through this year, and it can be transferred over to his new home. Jesse is shy and sweet, loves car rides, cuddles and playtime.

Story
Keely is around 5 years old and weighs 13 pounds. While she is sociable with other dogs, she is not confident around humans. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, is shy, and would require an experienced and/or very patient handler. We are positive she would evolve into a trusting pet with continued confidence building. She will require a calm, quiet, patient home willing to let her adjust at her own pace without asking her to engage socially with children or people she does not know. If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog on Saturday at Petsmart in Yorba Linda between noon and 3 pm OR on a mutually agreeable day, time and place during the week. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
