Story
Sweet little Quilt is a patchwork of fluff, lace and downy fur. Shy at first, she’s quick to warm up, draping herself on a lap, under a crossed leg or beside a throw pillow to offer and receive cushy comfort on the couch of your choice. When not cuddling, she’s bouncing, exploring or socializing with other dogs. She’s a gentle Yorkie multitasker with all the right stuff ready to be an affectionate heirloom in your loving home. Here's some notes from her foster: Quilt is the sweetest doggo you’ll ever meet. Despite only having one eye, she doesn’t let that slow her down. She’s got pep in her step whether she’s jotting around the house or going on a walk. We are figuring out her potty schedule, but for now we’ve put pee pads down and she knows to go on them. She loves a walk around the block and often stops to check out every entryway/door we pass as if waiting to greet whoever is there. She loves making friends with older women along the way (maybe a throw back to her previous owner?). She will sometimes give a single bark to bigger or male dogs but that’s just because she’s trying to show them how tough she is! She loves to cuddle on the couch and will make sure the blanket is justttt right before settling in. She loves to be on the other end of the couch or across the room. When she curls up, she always puts her back to us which I think means she trusts us! She loves any type of attention and cuddles, and will sometimes offer up her belly for a scratch. When you leave the room, she’ll likely follow you around to make sure you haven’t left! When we go out for a couple hours, she’s always waiting for us at the door. During the work day, we’ll move her bed next to our desk so she can rest next to us. She is super easy going, a lovely companion, and will fit into any quieter lifestyle and home very easily. (By the way, we call her by her previous name “Minty” since she responds well to it!)

Story
Looking for a long-legged beauty with a heart as big as her personality? Look no further than Hot Springs, the 14-pound Yorkshire Terrier who will paws-itively melt your heart! This little lady is a master of cuddles and scratches—she’ll be wiggling with joy as soon as you show her some love. Hot Springs is great with both dogs and cats, making her the perfect companion for any furry family member. While she may be a senior, don’t let that fool you—her sharp mind and agility will impress you! When it comes to walks, Hot Springs is your paw-fect partner, keeping pace with you every step of the way. While she loves all the action, she’s just as happy to curl up on the couch for a well-earned nap. Hot Springs is like a vintage treasure—she may be a senior, but she’s definitely one-of-a-kind and ready to bring joy and love into your life, one paw at a time! Here's some notes from her foster: This gal is adapting quickly to her foster home. She lets me know when she has to “do her business” outside and slept through the night like a champ. She’s very playful and enjoys wrestling around on the floor. At 8 years old she’s quite agile and active. I think she’d like a family that can play with and walk her with frequency. She’s non-reactive to dogs on the leash. I haven’t taken her to a dog park yet. Li’l girl is chill in the car and when I left her alone for a couple of hours. When I’m home, she’s either resting at my feet while I work or, her preference, sitting as close as possible on the couch.

Story
Mr. Little Potato Head! What a great name. To our best knowledge, probably a maltese poodle mix, he's approximately 3 years old and weights about 14 pounds. He is great with people and children. He walks well on a leash but does like to bark at other dogs, but will settle when you correct him. He loves to eat and is very food/treat motivated. He must have had a family before as he settled in with his foster very easily. He does well in car rides and loves his daily walks. Are you ready to incorporate him into your family!? SF Bay Area Adoptions only, please email if interested.
