Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Looking for a friendly, fun-loving, and energetic companion? Toby is here to win your heart! This 1.5-year-old Schnauzer-Poodle mix is full of life, curiosity, and love. At 22 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both adventures and snuggles – a sweet little package of joy, ready to be your best friend! Toby is a joy to be around! He’s all about playtime, whether it’s doing zoomies in the yard, exploring with his dog buddies, or tagging along for car rides (where he LOVES watching the cars whiz by). With a soft coat that makes him even more cuddle-worthy, he’s always happy to be close to his people. Plus, he’s crate-trained and has done amazing with his housetraining, especially with a good schedule! This pup already knows “sit” and has a great recall. And while he may pull a bit on the leash when he’s excited (there’s so much to explore!), he’s learning fast and just needs a little patience and guidance. Toby’s friendly personality makes him a great match for families, singles, or anyone who can give him the love and exercise he craves. Another dog sibling would be a bonus but isn’t necessary. If you’re an active person or family looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion, Toby is ready to join your pack! Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Nov 16th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 15, 2024, 12:09 pm

Story
Remi is 4 years old. She loves to lay in my lap and loves snuggles. She becomes jealous of other dogs but wants to momma puppies. She loves my 10 year old son but doesn’t know what to think of my one year old grandson. I am moving and can’t take her with me. I don’t want to take her to a shelter. She needs someone who will love her and have the time to let her lay in their lap. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old so she will need someone to have patience with her as she adjusts. Her breed is very territorial and forms a strong bond to their owners. She will growl at new people in the home. She has snapped towards people but has never bitten anyone.
