***Please don’t message with “Is he available?” He is not going anywhere until he has been vetted.
We are accepting applications until we find the right fit for Gixxer as well as the other 14 waiting on homes. Please only fill out the application for Gixxer if you:
1-have no kids under 12
2-have a fenced yard
3-All pets in the home are/were spayed/neutered, current on shots, and dogs on heartworm prevention (yes I will verify).***
Little Gixxer (sounds like Jixxer) was found as a stray by a nice lady and we offered to look for the owner and check for a microchip. Unfortunately there was no microchip, so we did the legal stray hold and searched for an owner, but no owner was found. He was in pretty rough shape, so we’ve cleaned him up and got him some “groceries”!
Gixxer is a little over a year old and weighs around 10-15 pounds. He will be neutered, updated on all shots, microchipped, and heartworm tested on 12-17-24. If he is heartworm negative, he will be started on heartworm prevention, which he MUST be kept on all of his life.
He is somewhat nervous in the beginning with new people and sudden movements, so he’d be better in a home without kids under 12.
Gixxer has done pretty well in the house and seems to have been puppy pad trained at some point in his life, but does like to tear puppy pads up occasionally. He does like to say hello (bark) when his people get home from work, etc. lol
The adoption fee is $400 to an approved and loving home. All vet records and his collar will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption.
To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com
*We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.*
The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly.
Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply.
Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!
