Story
This sweet senior is Prince. He’s fully house and crate trained, good with cats and dogs.  He’s fully blind, and despite that will manage to follow you around the house 24/7. He is a very very clingy boy, that would definitely benefit in a home where he can be the center of attention. He’s very loving and affectionate, and wants nothing more than to be in your lap or be held all the time. Itwould be best if he went to a home that’s a little more on the quiet side, he doesn’t mind most noises, but any very loud abrupt sounds scare him a lot.  Also despite being a little older and not being able to see, he still has quite a bit of energy in him, and loves to play with the other dogs. Although like every senior dog, he still loves his nap time. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. Story
Meet Clio! Clio is a quiet dog who would do best in a quieter environment.  She she timid at first but warms up quickly. Clio is a follower so it would be ideal to have another calm dog in the home to show her the ropes.  She loves being outside so a fenced yard would be preferred.   She gets along with other dogs and has been indifferent to the young child in her foster home.   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
