Found on the streets with one of the worst cases of matting we’ve ever seen, his hair was so long it touched the ground. Sadly, neighborhood kids threw rocks at him as he ran through the streets, terrified and alone. It took an experienced trapper to safely bring him to our facility, where he arrived shaking and too scared to be touched by anyone. However, with time, patience, and care, he has blossomed into a wonderful companion. He now enjoys daily walks, loves being pet, gets the excitement zoomies, and gets along well with other dogs. He is a laid-back boy who especially gets excited for his leash time, happily joining other dogs on walks. He seems to be potty/house trained, as he will wait to use the bathroom when he gets walked. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, this sweet poodle is ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $300. Maya Learned how to sit, stay, and come in her first week in foster care. She is 3 months old and ready for her forever family. Maya will need adopters with another 1-2 adult, dog-friendly, small-breed pup(s) in the home to mentor her and teach Maya how to be a family member. Maya weighs approximately 6.5 pounds and will be in the 15-pound range as an adult. Like all puppies, she is sweet, curious, and very high-energy. Maya will need committed adopters who are willing to be patient and put in the time and energy to train her. Maya will also need someone to be with her during the day for potty training, mid-day feeding, training, and general care so they grow up to be well-adjusted dogs.
