Gismo is a 2-year-old Poodle male about 15 lb. He's pretty good with other dogs and is being fostered in a home. His previous home was unable to keep him. He's can be vocal and high-strung. He's very cuddly and cute once he gets to know you. He can be wary of new people and new situations so taking it slow when you first meet him is crucial. He does fine in a crate. Gismo would do best with a single owner. He does fine with other dogs. No kids for Gismo, as he can bite when he's frightened or feels cornered. Gismo needs a family with a lot of rescue experience for him to overcome his behavioral issues. Gismo is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $500.

We are looking for a home outside of the city and busy apartment/condo living as he is fearful of the outside world. He enjoys other dogs and will require another dog in the home as they give him confidence. He will need a home that is committed to everything a puppy needs such as potty support and obedience training. He is a dog who require regular grooming. Priya is a sweet and sassy gal who is just as snuggly as she is playful and energetic. For a small dog, she's a natural leader with other dogs because she knows what she wants. She loves playing chase and wrestling with her brother, Private - and is entertained by it all day long. Priya is great at listening, and learns commands very quickly, she even has instant recall when playing in the yard. Priya is house trained, knows “sit”, but is still learning proper leash walking - she gets very excited and bouncy. Priya can still be timid in situations outside of the house or yard - and will need some gentle coaxing and confidence building when out and about and meeting other dogs on leash - she can be vocal when she sees other dogs on a walk. Priya loves everyone she meets and would be a great companion and even a tiny adventure pal! Her ideal home would be one who wants to adopt both she and her brother, Private. This bonded sibling pair is one-in-a-million! They are so entertaining AND keep themselves entertained all day. These two pups love everyone they meet and are not shy to cuddle up on any lap. Private loves to watch the neighbor kids come home from school out the windows. Private is still timid when adventuring outside of the house and needs more confidence in loading into the car, and walking around on leash, but he is getting better every day! Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 4 year old 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He catches on to new commands quickly. Ramen would do best in an adult only household, as it takes him time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has showed a little resource guarding when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
