Story
Hi! I’m Sheila, I'm 8 years old and done being a mama! I’m enjoying my new life in Minnesota learning to play and looking forward to retiring on a couch, eating treats, playing with my toys, and snuggling up with my people. I’ve been spending my days dancing around my foster home trying out ALL the toys and ALL the beds, sniffing ALL the smells in the backyard, and taking naps both inside and out. Things I’ve learned I love are attention, treats, attention, toys (especially squeaky ones), attention, breakfast and dinner, attention, and sitting in laps. And did I mention attention? Things I’m figuring out is pottying outside (I know to go outside, but usually go inside once a day just because i want to!), which things/plants are ok to chew (hint- phone charger cords are NOT ok), and sometimes other dogs (I want ALL your attention!) I play tug and chase with the right companion but they need to be ok with me being the boss. Things I’m not a fan of are storms and loud noises, strangers, and the super cold weather. I don’t know or care what cats are- boring! I’m poodly smart with a big personality and would love to learn more games and might benefit from working with a trainer to help me learn to share if I end up living with other dogs. I can get a little jealous and bossy!  I will let you know if it sounds like anyone is coming home so living in a place with shared walls won't work for me as all those noises make me anxious and our neighbors won't like me letting them all know!  I will also answer if I hear other dogs calling me, ignoring them would be rude! I don't really like the leash but love to go outside in my fenced in yard to go potty, so I will definitely need a fence!  Zoomies in the yard or chasing my people are enough exercise for me. What I want most in life is to snuggle my BFF and eat treats. Can you be that BFF? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $350.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:33 pm

Story
Name: Tinky Winky Breeds: Poodle/ Maltese Mix Age: Young Adult Sex: Female Size: Small (15 lbs) Tinky Winky is a young Poodle/ Maltese mix, about 8 months old who is a little bit shyer and seems to have lacked a lot of life experiences so far. Despite being thrown into a high stress shelter environment and completely pelted to the skin matted, Tinky handled it with nothing but sweetness and a gentle nature. She is good with other dogs though the big ones do scare her a bit, fine with cats, and loves people. She’ll belly crawl gently up to you for some love and just melt into you. Tinky is learning how fun toys are and starting to let her guard down more to play. She is doing well on her housetraining and crates well for the workday. She does not appear to shed so will need a home committed to grooming every 6-8 weeks as well as frequent brushing. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $650 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives Interested in adopting? Fill out a preadopt application here: https://form.jotform.com/203104540557144 You can email adoptionshhk9@gmail.com with additional questions. This dog is located in Minneapolis, MN

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Snickers (café au lait female) and Ty (tan male): A Heartwarming Bonded Pair Snickers and Ty are a delightful duo who complement each other perfectly and are ready to bring double the love to their forever home! About Snickers: • Snickers greets you with an adorable smile, showing her teeth in the most charming way. • Initially the braver of the two, she has let Ty take the lead in bravery, but she remains a loving shadow never far behind. • Timid yet affectionate, Snickers loves to cuddle and warms up quickly with love and patience. About Ty: • Ty started off a little shy but has blossomed into the ultimate attention-seeker. Nicknamed “handhog,” he’ll happily nudge his way into belly rubs and soak up all your affection. • A bed hog and food enthusiast, Ty keeps life entertaining with his flopping couch antics during belly rubs. • He thrives on snuggles and is working hard on being the best indoor companion. Why They’re Amazing Together: • Both are crate trained and happily sleep together at night. • They’ve done well with small dogs, a big dog, cats (with a little initial barking), and even a two-year-old child (whom they wanted to kiss in exchange for treats!). • Ty and Snickers walk nicely on a leash together, although they’re still figuring out how not to get tangled. Ongoing Progress: • They’re working on relearning potty training and are already accident-free in their kennel. • These two have adjusted wonderfully to foster life, with Ty embracing his new role as the bolder leader while Snickers stays close by. Ty and Snickers are ready to become cherished members of a loving home. Their bond is heartwarming, and their sweet, goofy personalities will keep you smiling every day!
