Reece is a one-year-old poodle mix, weighing about 32 pounds, with a heart as big as his playful personality. Despite a challenging start in life, Reece has made an incredible transformation. Now, he’s a happy, energetic pup who loves to go on walks, play fetch, and make new dog friends.
This smart boy has mastered several commands, including sit, stay, come, down, drop it (though he’s not a fan of that one), find it, and touch. His recall is excellent, making him a great adventure companion.
Reece is happiest when he’s with his people. Whether he’s joining you on a walk, watching TV by your side, chewing on a good bone, or curling up in bed, he’ll be your loyal and loving companion. He’s also a great sleeper, snoozing through the night for 8-10 hours without needing a potty break.
Due to his early struggles, Reece is still adjusting to kennels and barriers, so a patient adopter willing to continue his training will be ideal. He can also be a bit mouthy at times, so we wouldn’t recommend him for households with small children.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
