Meet Thalia! Thalia is a 5 year old, 11 lb Miniature Poodle with a gentle and sensitive soul. She can be nervous when first adjusting to new environments, so she’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time and space to feel safe and secure. Because of this, Thalia is not a good match for homes with young children under 10. Once she feels comfortable, Thalia’s sweet personality truly shines. She’s a loving little companion who enjoys snuggling up with her favorite person and soaking up affection. She’s also quite curious and enjoys exploring her surroundings and playing with toys. Thalia thrives in the company of other dogs and REQUIRES a canine companion in her forever home to help her feel confident and happy. She has also done well with cats in her foster home. She’s been making good progress with house training, though she will need continued patience as she learns a new routine. Thalia is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, so a securely fenced yard is a REQUIREMENT for her safety and comfort. With love, patience, and a furry friend by her side, Thalia will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. Meet Murray Mills , a 10-pound gentleman with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! At 11 years young, this sweet poodle mix is the perfect blend of calm cuddler and occasional goofball — he loves to snuggle but will happily prance around the yard when the mood strikes. Murray enjoys his neighborhood walks and greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and pure joy — men, women, and small dogs alike. A happy boy, Murray also gets adorable spurts of energy and when he does his smile melts hearts. He’s fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and thrives on companionship, so he’d love a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. Murray sleeps soundly in his cozy dog bed but is happiest when he’s close to his people, watching the action (or maybe sniffing what’s cooking!). Like many distinguished seniors, Murray has a few quirks — he wears a belly band to help with marking, and his vision and hearing aren’t what they used to be, though he gets around just fine with a little patience and reassurance.
