Story
Meet Bryan, the 8-year-old Poodle mix whose heart is as soft as his curly fur! Weighing in at 19 lbs, this sweet and gentle soul perfectly embodies the spirit of a loving companion.  He is fully crate and potty  trained.   Bryan is as clever as he is cuddly, making him a breeze to have around the house.  He is not  just a homebody, though—Bryan loves car rides and is always ready to be your calm and content co-pilot, watching the world whirl by his window.  He is on a tiny  mission to shed just  a couple pounds ,    so it  is important  not to overdo it with food and treats. Bryan is great  on a leash making walks with him so easy and fun.  Bryan’s love for snuggles and his peaceful presence also   make him the ideal couch buddy. Whether joining you on a road trip or curling up for a quiet afternoon, Bryan is happiest right by your side and needs a calm, quiet home with no children.  Bryan would be fine as an only dog or with another older couch partner.  Ready to fall in love? Bryan is here, just waiting to be your forever cuddle companion. Adoption fee $450 Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Story
LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT HOME:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 10 lbs. & needs to gain a little weight Hi, I’m Ellis!  I had a home, but due to family and work changes, they no longer have the time that having a dog requires, so Mostly Mutts agreed to help me find a new family. I’m in a great foster home while I wait to meet them!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I’m sweet and polite with the two dogs that are in my foster home – taking correction cues well from them.  So, if you have a nice dog at home, let’s meet! / I was interested in the kitty in my foster home at first, but now I mostly ignore her, and I responded well to a hiss when I sniffed a little too much for the kitty. So, if you have a cat, let’s meet. / I haven’t met kids yet since coming to Mostly Mutts, but I have snapped at an adult over guarding food and growled when I guarded an object that I wanted that was on the floor, so much older kids (teens and up) that will know not to come around me when I eat or take anything away from me, and of course let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster reports that I’m very sweet and that I want to please them as well as want acceptance from my people.  I’m also very timid, shy and fearful and I tend to jump and flinch at a lot of things until I get used to them, so a family that is patient and calm would be best for me.  Also, I’d like a home that doesn’t have a lot of people coming and going.  Now that I’ve gotten more comfortable with my foster family, I like being very close to them and I do my best to be chill and go with the flow though I have those guarding challenges as mentioned above and my foster family is working on them with me, and Mostly Mutts is happy to provide support and training too. I’m starting to sit in laps, but do not like being picked up, so if want a dog you can carry around – I’m not that dog. / My energy level is currently 4-6, though it may increase the more comfortable I become in my new home.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My former family reported that I know ‘sit’ and ‘stay’, but I haven’t tried those commands in my foster home. I’ve learned how to go up and down stairs and I have the talent of getting on my hind legs and walking like a human at times. I’m sure you can teach me lots of commands. / I’m not crated in my foster home, but I stay in the kitchen when I sleep and when my fosters need to leave the home. Initially I would get very upset and loud when I couldn’t see my fosters and at nighttime – barking for about 30 minutes before settling in. However now that I’ve been in my foster home for a few weeks I haven’t barked at nighttime, and I’ve been good when they need to leave for periods of time during the day. Due to my first few weeks adjusting to a new home, an apartment/condo type home would not be a good fit for me. / My foster reports that I’m doing well with my potty manners on a good schedule.  I know right where to go and right what to do when we go outside, and I respond well to “go potty, good job.”  So, keep me on a consistent schedule and I think I’ll do well for you too.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like playing fetch, playing with toys and tossing toys around and my favorite thing is being with my people!  I also like to sniff around, and I like snuggling with my people now that I’m feeling more at home. / I do not want to be carried as that makes me very uncomfortable and I’d much rather walk on my own. I don’t like being alone very much, so a work from home or stay at home family member would  be the best!  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you are a patient family that wants to help build their dogs’ confidence and will take the time to do that, we could be a good match. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 5, 2024, 9:04 pm

Story
My name is Mon Bijou, it means My Jewel. My foster mom says that it’s because when Angels first found me they knew I was a diamond in the ruff. My fur was a hot mess, but I had a spa day, and now I’m pretty as a picture.     I am a 2 year old poodle. I love all the people I meet and all the dogs.I love to play fetch with my ball. I’d like to sit on the sofa and watch TV with you too. I like to go on walk and am a quiet car rider.     If you are looking for a hypoallergenic dog, maybe I’m the girl for you! Story
Introducing Zazie!   Zazie is approximately 11 months old and is very sweet, energetic and a fast learner. She's about 60 pounds right now and all legs! She is dog friendly and easily adapts to new surroundings. She is smarty pants with an eagerness for training. She already knows sit and shake!    Zazie would best thrive in an active home that has time to help her get out her fun, playful energy. She's working on mastering her leash skills. She absolutely loves to be outside! She attends a doggie playgroup daily and has a blast with her doggie friends romping around the pool.   She would be great for any on-the-go family or an individual who desires an active companion.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Marco is the cutest, sweetest 15-year-old dog I have ever known. I adopted him from the Humane Society. Initially very timid, he has gradually come out of his shell. Marco mainly sleeps but will walk around when he's hungry, needs to go outside, or just wants to stretch his legs. He loves being outside and lying in the grass. Remarkably, he does not lick or bark—I've only heard him bark four times in the three years I've had him, the last time being two years ago. Marco has cataracts but manages to get around on his own, although he doesn't navigate stairs by himself. He is very friendly to other dogs and people. Due to his vision, it's best to let him smell your hand first before petting him, as he can get startled if approached too quickly. He is afraid of thunder, so expect him to seek snuggles during storms. Marco is an easy-going dog. If you want to sleep in, he'll sleep in too. I want Marco to have a home where he is attentively cared for, safe, and lo

Story
CAJUN : Sweet is not a strong enough adjective for this boy. Cajun is a loving shadow whose entire mission in life is to be a velcro pup to his person. He loves to be loved on, and lay next to you. We have yet to hear him bark. He has yet to meet a stranger, and gets along great with cats & dogs of all sizes, both big & small. He loves to ride the raft in the pool and doesn't mind getting wet. If you want a small companion to take hiking or to the lake, look no further. At just 7 lbs & 1.5 years old, this toy poodle will bring years of joy and love to his adopters. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
