Story
**Meet Pablo – Your Perfect Pint-Sized Companion!** Say hello to Pablo, a 4-year-old, 13-pound bundle of sweetness who is ready to find his forever home! This charming Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix (your guess is as good as ours!) came to us in late January from Worcester Animal Control. Now fully vetted and ready for adoption, Pablo is looking for a family to love him as much as he’ll love them. Pablo is all about companionship! He adores being close to his humans and has a cuddly, fun-loving disposition. He’s also a social pup who gets along well with other dogs, though he can get a little jealous at times. Respectful older kids would likely be a good match, but he might need some time and patience to warm up to younger children. As for cats, we’re not quite sure, as he can get territorial. This athletic little guy would thrive in a home with a secure yard and a high fence—he’s got the agility to make the most of it! He’s also working hard on his potty training and is doing great so far, but continued reinforcement will help him master it. Pablo is crate-trained too; he may whine a little at first but settles in quickly like the good boy he is. With his beautiful brown eyes, great health, and a playful streak (he loves to gnaw on his leash like a champ!), Pablo is the total package. All he needs is a loving family willing to give him the attention, training, and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a cuddly, athletic, and affectionate little dog to brighten your life, Pablo could be your perfect match. Are you ready to give this handsome dude the forever home he’s been waiting for? Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is about 11 months old, 25 lbs, and he may have some Manchester Terrier or Min Pin in his mix! Toby was pulled from a high-kill shelter. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 5+ and other dogs that are not big players. He chases outdoor cats but is OK with indoor cats. His foster says, `Toby is a sweet, but sensitive little fellow. His early life was not great. Finding yourself on death row as a puppy must have been a little traumatic for him. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, new dogs, and a ne environment. Patience and understanding brings out the best in him.`He is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Worcester by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Available in TX only! Thunder is a sweet and cautious rescue dog who was found as a stray along with his two siblings. Initially shy around strangers, Thunder takes time to feel safe and requires a patient adopter who can help him overcome his fearfulness. He is best suited for a calm home without frequent visitors or high levels of activity outside the home. Thunder experiences car sickness and would need medication for long trips. Once trust is established, Thunder reveals his affectionate nature. He loves to cuddle and prefers sleeping close to his family, though he can be crated if necessary. Fully housebroken, Thunder is a playful dog who enjoys games of fetch, chew toys, and spending time outdoors. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play freely. His friendly demeanor extends to other dogs, making him an excellent companion for a household with canine siblings. Thunder's ideal adopter will be understanding of his need for a consistent and reassuring environment. With time, patience, and love, Thunder will flourish as a loyal and loving member of his forever family.
