Story
Meet Otis, the most adorable French bulldog and Miniature Pinscher mixed pup! Otis is 1 year and 8 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a forever home. His special superpower is his ability to always have his lips stuck on his teefs. Otis was surrendered to us because his humans did not have time for him. We were told that he consistently had accidents in the house and that he was alone most of the day. We could tell that he lacked obedience and did not know boundaries upon intake. His humans did love him, but they did not provide him with a routine or any mental and physical stimulation. He is now doing well with a consistent routine and learning to be a well-behaved pup. His foster mom reports that Otis has not had any accidents in the house since he came. He is a medium sized dog, but he thinks that he is a tiny pup and insists on always getting in your lap. Otis is the epitome of a Velcro dog! He is very affectionate and would love to be with you all the time. Personal boundaries do not exist in his vocab. His favorite thing in the whole world must be chest and belly rubs because he can never get enough of it. Otis will sometimes throw tantrums when he is denied attention but can easily be distracted when you throw a toy for him to chase after. Speaking of toys, Otis LOVES chewing on all the toys. Durable chew toys are a must for this boy. He can be very energetic when playing tug or zooming around the house and yard--and because of this, we think the best environment for Otis is a home without young children. And although he will happily cuddle and snooze on the couch, Otis needs daily walks so that he can exercise his body as well as his brain. Otis is used to doing whatever he wants and will try and push his boundaries to see what he can get away with. However, he is a quick learner with high value food rewards. We are making strides with crate training and leash walking. Otis needs a home with a human that he can trust and depend on. His perfect human will understand that he has been neglected and will continue to help him heal by providing him with lots of love, a consistent routine, and be persistent with his obedience training. Story
Meet Raven, a beautiful, sweet and playful 4-year-old French Bulldog looking for her forever home! Raven is as lovable as they come—she’s a gentle soul with a fun-loving spirit. Whether she's chasing after toys, playing with her favorite humans, or snuggling up for a cozy nap, Raven is always ready to brighten your day. Raven came to us from a small family farm where she was used as a breeding dog. Unlike many of our former mommas, Raven was a very loved member of the family and it shows in her sweet disposition. Raven’s foster mom describes her as “absolute perfection” and says she has every good Frenchie quality and none of the bad. She’s a little ball of love wrapped in fur. This easy-going gal gets along with everyone and will make the perfect addition to any family looking for a calm yet playful companion. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, SWEET friend who will always bring a smile to your face, Raven is the girl for you! Raven would do best in a home where someone works from home or is home more often than not, as she does have mild separation anxiety. She thrives in a loving, consistent environment where she can feel secure and enjoy all the attention she craves. Like most frenchies, Raven does have some medical issues. After being in foster care for several months she developed a sudden head tilt. A trip to one of our wonderful partners confirmed Raven likely had IVDD. She has some narrowing in the disks of her neck and spine. Raven was treated with prednisone and responded immediately. She’s been in great health since but her adopter must understand this breed can be very fragile and needs to have the means to care for her medically should this flair up again. Raven was also diagnosed with hip dysplasia and a low grade (1) luxating patella in her right knee. It is suggested she stay on a joint supplement for life. With all that said – Raven doesn’t seem to be in any pain and joyfully goes about her days. Sweet Ravey is UTD on vaccines, spayed, had nares surgery (bc frenchie), microchipped, and on preventatives. She is living in Levittown, PA with 2 bichons and a big pittie and she gets along beautifully with all. If Raven sounds like she’d be a good addition to your family, and you promise to love and snuggle her for life, please apply only on our website today! *We suggest using a PC over a phone or tablet. *Please note: A separate meet and greet with potential adopters and all resident pets is required prior to final approval.
