Fill out an Adoption Application Brief description: Elliot is a sweet little low-rider fellow who wants to be by your side at all times. Weighing in at about 40 lbs, he is a perfect lap dog. He’s your ride or die, always willing to do whatever you’re in the mood for, whether its having a lazy on the couch or taking a hike in the woods. He enjoys being around people and just wants to be the center of attention. He’s house and crate trained and responds well to commands. He is quite the quirky character and will make you laugh with the way he hops around when he’s happy or lays with his legs straight up in the air when he’s sleeping. Likes: Loves attention from his humans. He likes to sit by your feet all day, whether you’re working at your desk or watching TV, he’ll be right there with you. Did you say ‘get the ball?’ Elliot’s favorite game is playing fetch. This makes him very happy, and you can tell because he starts hopping like a bunny when he’s playing fetch to show his enthusiasm. He’s very food motivated and will do anything you ask him when a treat is involved. Dislikes: The only thing that seems to annoy him is when his foster brother tries to hump him, but to be expected, lol! Meet Debo! He's a big giant baby and thinks he's a lap dog. His owner found himself homeless living in a condemned building. He agreed to surrender Debo considering his living conditions.He's great with other dogs but not yet cat tested.Debo has also had two weeks of intensive training. Stevie wins the prize for her Moo Deng costume with her foster mom Zoo Keeper! Stevie is approximately 2 yrs old and appears to be an English Bulldog mix. Stevie was surrendered with terrible skin infections, no hair and overall poor condition. She has come a long way! Her fur is growing back, she is a happy go lucky pup that is good with kids, cats and other dogs. She visited everyone she met at a recent adoption event. Sena was abandoned in my neighborhood about 7 months ago. She was starved and abused. I have never been a dog person, but I wanted to help her so I placed a lost pet ad and no response. She has all her shots and I was going to get her fixed, but since I have on going medical needs and also might be unemployed soon. Sena is gentle and loves to play with toys. She loves to fetch. My yard is very small and I also cannot take her for walks. She has never growled at me or caused me to fear her. I am also willing to help with the cost for getting her fixed when that time comes. Otis is an11 yr old bull terrier, house trained and always wanting to play. Loves tug of war walks/hikes and swimming. I adopted him in 2014 as a 7 month old puppy and he’s been with me since. My wife and I have a small child which he has shown anxiousness with and I’m afraid they cannot co habitat. Needs a home with no pets or small children. Nutmeg is the happiest, sweetest, most affectionate dog you're likely to ever meet. She's always up for an adventure and gets super excited to go "bye bye". She rides perfectly in the car. She has wonderful manners and knows several commands. This girl is 100% potty trained to outside and will even alert at the door when she needs to go out. She pulls on the leash for about the first 30 seconds of a walk out of excitement, then walks loose leashed. She goes willingly into her crate and settles right away. However, she also can be left to roam as she is not destructive. She can play a bit rough and bulldoze people unintentionally during zoomies, so she's best fit for a household with older kids. Nutmeg can be particular about who she shares her space with. She is dog selective and will need to meet any resident dogs of potential adopters. Nutmeg needs someone who likes a dog that snuggles as she loves to be right with her people when she's ready to nap.
