Hi. My name is Butters. If you like big&#44 floppy&#44 loving boy dogs&#44 then Iandamp;#39;m your man. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;So much to tell you about my journey. I was a shy/hesitant boy when I first arrived - a bit scared of this big unknown world. Volunteers and staff have been working with me and ohhhhhh&#44 how Iandamp;#39;ve realized the world and the people in it are good and kind.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I recently went on a field trip with 2 volunteers I did not know. No one knew how I would do. I saw a car and thought&#44 andamp;quot;Wow&#44 are these 2 new people adopting me and taking me home?andamp;quot; I was super excited and got in the car&#44 settled in the back seat ready to go HOME. Iandamp;#39;m so good and calm in the car. Really&#44 Iandamp;#39;m so good and calm wherever I go.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;We got home and went for a walk. I used to fear leashes and walks but no more. I happily walked with my new person. Then&#44 we went inside the house and eventually cuddled on the couch (they invited me on the couch). I cannot tell you how HAPPY I was. I truly thought I could never be happier. I was such a good boy. I never went potty in the house or even lifted my leg to mark AND there were lots of dog smells in that house! So&#44 that is a very good sign I am housetrained.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;They took me in the car again which I was happy about but what a shock to my system - we arrived back at the shelter. They were not my new family. I was not adopted. That is when I found out it was only a field trip. I didnandamp;#39;t want to get out of the car. Can you imagine my total dismay and sadness? They finally got me out of the car and since Iandamp;#39;m a well-behaved boy&#44 I followed them inside the shelter. I was so sad.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;So&#44 Iandamp;#39;m asking you to please come and take me home for ever and ever. I am a loving&#44 affectionate&#44 playful&#44 silly boy who is longing for a family I can call my own. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Love always&#44andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Butters xoxo

Since coming into my foster home&#44 Iandamp;#39;ve really thrived-I promise Iandamp;#39;ll win you over quickly! Life has been pawsitively amazing&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m just a big softy looking for my forever family. My favorite activities include playing tug-of-war&#44 gazing out the front door&#44 riding with you in the car&#44 and taking cozy naps on the couch. Thereandamp;#39;s nothing better than snuggling up next to you while we binge-watch our favorite shows!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a smart fellow who already knows how to sit like a pro&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m house-trained and crate-trained&#44 so you wonandamp;#39;t have to worry about any messes. I pick up on things quickly so I am happy to learn anything else you have to teach me! I also love going for walks and do great on a leash&#44 so we can explore the neighborhood together! Iandamp;#39;ve also thrived in an apartment previously as I donandamp;#39;t need a ton of space&#44 just enough to snuggle with you! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m social and have participated in many play groups at the shelter&#44 where Iandamp;#39;ve shown that I get along great with larger dogs. One of my favorite things is going for car rides-I just love to stick my head out of the window and feel the breeze! Iandamp;#39;m very calm during rides&#44 never barking at people or dogs we pass&#44 and I wait patiently in drive-thrus for my pup cups.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I do well with older kids who can appreciate my size. If youandamp;#39;re ready for a big bundle of love who enjoys lazy afternoons and fun tug sessions&#44 come meet me! I promise to fill your days with joy and companionship.
