Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Freya has been through a lot in her young life. She was originally living with a homeless person who died so she ended up in a rural shelter. We saved her from euthanasia as she was exhibiting signs of stress!! She would suck on her tail for comfort. Freya was flourishing in a caring boarding facility where she is doing very well at learning to be a dog and have fun. She was in a temporary foster home with 2 dogs and a cat. She watches the cat and is very curious. With supervision there have been no issues, if our cat would run, no doubt she would chase it. She loves the attention from kids, best to be older, dog savvy - 10 years old + as she can be mouthy. Freya sleeps in a crate overnight with no fuss or accidents. Good walking on a leash with a harness. She taught herself to use the doggy door. Not bothered by thunderstorms. Freya will be going for board and train to set her up for success. She would love to go into her forever home after that. Training stars 8/31/24 until the end of September. If there is another dog in the home, it would need to be playful, high energy to match Freya. She would be too much for low-key dogs. On a day trip, taken out by one of our volunteers, they said: She was super sweet all day, barely tugged on the leash towards the end and didn’t act anxious at all. She loved hanging out next to the water at the few parks we went to and enjoys tug of war as well! She’s definitely a wind in her hair type of girl and likes her head out the window, also super curious with every flower she came across Freya is still just a baby learning the world isn't such a bad place. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Hamlin was the longest resident at a rural county shelter and his time was up! We couldn't let the unthinkable happen to this good boy, so here is thriving in a foster home, hoping for his furever. UPDATE: Hamlin was adopted but due to the hurricanes in our area, his new dad lost everything and was unable to provide a home for Hamlin. Just a glimpse of how wonderful this boy is. A volunteer took him on a trip to the vet and this is what she wrote: HAMLIN, all 71.2lbs of him, according to the vet, slugged his scrumptious booty up in my car, like we were long, lost friends! I fell in love instantly and knew he was magical! My eyes welled up as if he was not saved myself, his fosters, his adopters out there, and the world would have missed out on his love, his trust, his belief that we are good! Needless to say, this hottie swooned the ladies at his vet visit! After a boat load of snacks and booty rubs, he was poked, shaved a bit and examined without any hesitation by him! He was a dream in the car, superb on his leash and gave new meaning to lap dog!! HAMLIN needs a forever home! At his size, he’s going to take up a lot of room but not a lot of energy, as he’s perfectly happy just doing whatever you want to do! His foster family adore him and we all see why! Hamlin is good with children. Cats unknown. He will need to be a SOLO pup. If you’re interested in giving this amazing young man a forever home, please fill out an adoption application. 🐾❤️Our big boy, Hamlin, the lovable goof🥰 is in need of a foster home or furever home 🏠 We saved him when his time was up because we had a generous offer to foster him. It was a temporary situation- it saved his life and for that we are truly grateful ❤️ The time has come for Hamlin to move on and brighten another person’s or family’s life. He’s a 71 pound lapdog with a heart as huge as his smile 😊, great with kids too👶👧 ✅Crate trained and just relaxes in it ✅House trained ⭐️No accidents ✅Does not chew or destructive ✅Polite and does not beg ✅Enjoys car rides and short walks 🐿️Squirrels make him nervous ❗️ He would need a slow introduction if there is another dog in the home and we don’t know about cats. Please help us give Hamlin the life he deserves. He was originally found abandoned, tied to a pole. He became the longest resident at a rural shelter and we stepped in before the inevitable was about to be his fate😞. You can find out more about Hamlin below ⬇️ Please complete an application if you can help him. Story
Hi-My name is Hercules and I`m a Diamond Dog. Please ask about the special perks that come with my adoption.I LIKE: treats more than toys but I love to be near you and cuddle.I KNOW: how to walk nicely and will politely sit for a treat. The volunteers say I`m well behaved and easy to handle. They say I`m a `mellow fellow.`IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: to cuddle with while you watch your favorite shows, I`m your guy. Let`s watch some Netflix!I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I have amazing eyes, one blue and one brown.SOMETHING ABOUT MY PAST: I have lived with other dogs, women and young kids. I am crate trained and my favorite thing to do is go for a walk.
