*DOB: 5-8-18*Sergeant is a big guy! Coming in at a whopping 112lbs he is just full of love. His size and bark can be intimidating but we can assure you he`s just a big cuddle bug! Sergeant knows a few basic commands such as sit and shake. He was found on the side of the road with a pile of food. In the short time that we have had Sergeant he has come a long way! He takes a bit to warm up to new people so he would **require multiple meet and greets.** Sergeant seems to prefer Women and is a little more cautious around Men. He is currently being treated for a skin infection but since he needs multiple meet and greets he should be good to go before you take him home! Hi Im Odie! I was born on May 12th, 2023 with a lot of brothers and sisters on a homestead. I stayed there playing with my siblings and parents until my owner came for me and brought me to my current home. Unfortunately, my owners partner has become dangerously allergic to me and Ive gotten too big for the current living situation. So we are looking for a new home for me! Hopefully, my new home would have a big yard and other dogs to play with. I absolutely love to play but sometimes I forget how big I am with others. And when I play really hard I nap even harder, I love to cuddle up on the couch. Im a well-behaved young dog since I have completed puppy school, I love to do tricks for treats. Things I need to work on: - Recall - Separation anxiety (inside a cage) - Scared of water - Jumping on people to say hi

BIRDIE is currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and is hoping to catch a ride on 2/8/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue to Cedarburg WI, but needs an ADOPTER or FOSTER to secure her spot! Please apply to foster or adopt on our website: www.muttlife.org ABOUT: BIRDIE is a roughly 1 1/2 yrs old altered female 50 lbs. She is super dog friendly and a super silly girl. She was able to get into a foster home in Georgia before coming to WI and is currently with 8 other dogs and is doing awesome! She gets along with everyone and is a submissive girl. She has not been cat tested yet, but is most likely fine. She does well with kids too. She is working on potty training and all the stuff that goes with living in a home. An overall good girl who is hoping to find her forever family when she comes to WI. __________ All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and are heart worm tested prior to adoption if age appropriate. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ​3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: if dogs are adopted prior to 6 months of age and are not neutered/spayed yet, we will work with you to coordinate an appointment with one of our veterinary clinic partners or you can go through your vet and we will give you a partial adoption fee reimbursement of $100. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
