Hello, I`m Sirius! Despite what my name may make you think (and once I get past my initial nervousness), I`m as sweet and wiggly as they come! I`m a big fan of treats and would love lots of positive reinforcement in my new home. I may be too much for some children due to my size and jumpiness. I am also picky about the dogs I befriend, so I would benefit from slow dog introductions in my future home and time to decompress outside of the shelter before meeting new canine companions. If you`re in search for a BIG love bug and sound like I could be a good fit, come give me a visit at the shelter! Additionally, I am eligible for a training scholarship through GoodPup, so be sure to ask your adoptions counselor about this when you meet me! BIRDIE is currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and is hoping to catch a ride on 2/8/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue to Cedarburg WI, but needs an ADOPTER or FOSTER to secure her spot! She was able to get into a foster home in Georgia before coming to WI and is currently with 8 other dogs and is doing awesome! She gets along with everyone and is a submissive girl. She has not been cat tested yet, but is most likely fine. She does well with kids too. She is working on potty training and all the stuff that goes with living in a home.
