Story
Mastiff Mix 10 months old Male 90 pounds Kids · 8+ Dogs · Dog selective Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I’m a spirited young boy with a heart full of love and a passion for adventure. Whether it’s hiking, running, or playing fetch, I’m always up for some fun! I thrive on human interaction! I’m always excited to meet new friends and share my enthusiasm. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’m eager to learn and would benefit from positive reinforcement training. I can be a bit choosy with my dog friends, so slow and proper introductions are essential. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, so it’s best if my new home doesn’t have any feline friends. I would be good with children over the age of 8! My adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Meet Luna! She is currently 32 pounds, 4 months old, and we think she may be a Mastiff mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Luna’s video here: This striking puppy is simply gorgeous. Not only does lovable Luna have an unusual black and white marking pattern, we also love her freckles! She has black freckles in her white fur, and beautiful freckles on her soft belly too. (You’ll see this often because this lovable girl will roll over at a moment’s notice and offer up her belly for pets and rubs.) Luna also really enjoys head scratches, and will lean into your hand to encourage you and assure you that you are doing a good job. Watch out tho, because she will relax entirely from the head scratches, and you will end up holding her up, lol. (We love this about her – she does everything with her whole heart and complete trust.) But perhaps the best thing about Luna, other than her high squish-level on the squish meter (a real thing that we didn’t just make up), is her unmistakable yet adorable underbite. Luna is a very relaxed and happy puppy, and you will see her smile a lot. Her underbite, especially the two bottom teeth that seem to protrude the most, will tickle your funny bone and make you chuckle and smile. We could honestly stare at this amazing girl all day! Luna is treat- and food-motivated, so we are sure that training will be that much easier. She is very clever and will quickly figure out exactly which pocket you keep your treats in, lol. We are excited to see all the commands and tricks this smart and charming girl will learn. Luna is in a loving foster home with several other dogs (see her brother Marley Pup Cup if you can stand the gorgeousness overload). Luna's foster mum reports that clever Luna is already crate and potty trained! Luna is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66d74dd543711d205405b810 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
If Cinnamon Roll were a person, he would be a hopeless romantic. Everything about him exudes an ability for deep love. When I first met him I was struck by his warm eyes which almost distracted me from his gorgeous brindle color, which I suspect may come from some mastiff mixed in there but of course, we can’t know for sure. Now he didn’t get the size of a mastiff, he is more like a half-size. The only way I would call him a gentle-giant would be if we were talking about love and loyalty- he is a giant in that sense! Cinnamon Roll weighs 64 lbs and is full grown at an estimated 3 years old. So this is him, gorgeous, glorious him. He may be considered a big dog but he isn’t imposing at all, I don’t think he has any concept of his potential to be intimidating and I am not going to either. Let’s have him out here being a big softie in that mastiff/staffie body. Once he gets home to his forever family, he is going to bond so deeply, be prepared for a dog that looks at you with big ol’ puppy dog heart eyes! I have also heard a tiny bit of chattiness out of him while hanging out in the living room so he may also tell you he loves you sometimes. When we introduced Cinnamon to new dogs he was calm, welcoming and easy-going but isn’t super playful. He is polite and tolerant, enjoying spending time with other dogs but passing on the games of chase or wrestling that were going on around him. An ideal doggie sibling would be moderately playful but Cinnamon Roll would be just as happy soaking up all the love himself. Another dog is not necessary for him to be fulfilled and happy. A home with a yard would be great for him but isn’t necessary. He will need a bit of polishing up on his leash skills, but he is attentive and treat motivated which will make the learning process a breeze. Regular walks, treats, and sweet talk will have him walking like a dream in no-time. While Cinnamon has a calm demeanor overall, no cats in the home for him. When we introduced him to our house cat he was a bit too interested for us to say he wouldn’t try to chase the cat and given his size, that would be chaos. If you're looking for a gentle giant with lots of love to give, Cinnamon is ready to be your loyal companion.Adopt this sweet boy today and get started making beautiful memories together! ! He cannot wait to go on adventures and learn all about the world with a person of his own at the other end of the leash. We sure hope its you! If you have any questions about Cinnamon Roll or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! MEET GOLDIE, a beautiful & young Mastiff in need of a foster or forever home! Goldie is a 1-year-old girl and is still a big puppy! She already weighs 90 pounds, and will likely put on weight as she grows up. She was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. Goldie is a sweet, gentle dog. She is slightly shy, especially with men, but very affectionate once she gets to know you. She gives big kisses! We do not know too much yet about how she is with other dogs, because she caught a doggy cough at the shelter so has been in isolation. But given her gentleness, we are expecting she will be good with other dogs, and we will test her soon. She would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application.

Story
Meet the newest, sweetest girl that just joined the CHS family. This girl is estimated to be about 8-9 months old. She is young, she is energetic, she is going to be big, she is already well over 80lbs and will probably top the scale when full grown at 100lbs or more. This girl is not designed to live in an apartment, she is going to need room to run and play. Ideally her new home is going to have a fenced yard and possibly a brother that might be interested in being her friend. This girl has had some training, but there is still a lot of work that needs to happen. She does loves spending time with her sister, but is probably going to be better off not living with her full time. If you are interested in meeting her we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption application. Once you have an approved adoption application on file, we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her. Her adoption fee will be $350.00 that will cover the cost of her spay her vaccinations, her being treated for fleas and worms and her microchip. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 16, 2024, 5:34 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bruhno Bruhno is still a work in progress.  Bruhno is a very shy English Mastiff.  He is learning to walk on a leash and ride in cars. Bruhno is good with other dogs and was raised with children.  It will be a while before we feel he is ready for adoption. His future "furever" family will need to be prepared for the long haul. Bruhno is terrified of new situations.  His main and immediate response is to immediately empty his bladder  Any adopters will have to be prepared for this.  He is house trained; this is a fear response. If you are interested in Bruhno or any of our fosters, please go to our website at www.mastiffrescueoregon.org, click on adoption info, and submit an application online. An application is required for any meet and greet. All of our fosters are in private homes.  Please be courteous, and do not call prior to 8:00am or after 8:00pm  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 12:21 am
