Story
Meet the newest, sweetest girl that just joined the CHS family. This girl is estimated to be about 8-9 months old. She is young, she is energetic, she is going to be big, she is already well over 80lbs and will probably top the scale when full grown at 100lbs or more. This girl is not designed to live in an apartment, she is going to need room to run and play. Ideally her new home is going to have a fenced yard and possibly a brother that might be interested in being her friend. This girl has had some training, but there is still a lot of work that needs to happen. She does loves spending time with her sister, but is probably going to be better off not living with her full time. If you are interested in meeting her we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption application. Once you have an approved adoption application on file, we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her. Her adoption fee will be $350.00 that will cover the cost of her spay her vaccinations, her being treated for fleas and worms and her microchip. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 16, 2024, 5:34 am

Bones and chew toys keep him happy and not destructive. He is energetic and enthusiastic when he is around people, and is working on not jumping up to greet people in his foster home. LIKES: Toys, blankets, attention, Bones DISLIKES: Unknown, haven’t figured it out yet POTTY TRAINING: Work in progress, and will go outside on a regular schedule. Has had some accidents in his foster home. OTHER/MISC.: COBIE is a large breed mix and will need ample space to play and rest. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. Story
Mastiff Mix 10 months old Male 90 pounds Kids · 8+ Dogs · Dog selective Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I’m a spirited young boy with a heart full of love and a passion for adventure. Whether it’s hiking, running, or playing fetch, I’m always up for some fun! I thrive on human interaction! I’m always excited to meet new friends and share my enthusiasm. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’m eager to learn and would benefit from positive reinforcement training. I can be a bit choosy with my dog friends, so slow and proper introductions are essential. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, so it’s best if my new home doesn’t have any feline friends. I would be good with children over the age of 8! My adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Hi, I`m Daffodil! I`m about 1 year old and weigh 60 pounds. I have a medical release discussing my teeth and a recent amputation I had done here at Greenhill. Staff will discuss this with you further.*I am relaxing in a foster home while I wait for my family to come adopt me. If you would like to meet me, please call 541-689-1503 x104 to schedule an appointment.*Do you like dogs? I have done well meeting other gentle dogs here at the shelter. Please bring any canine family members for me to meet before adoption.Cats? My history is a mystery. With training and supervised interactions, I may be able to learn to live with a feline friend.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos 8+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Daffodil? I`m a very sweet, tender little lady looking for a soft spot to land after my recent amputation. I have so much love to give and can`t wait to find my forever family!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
